There are a couple of places in the instruction manual that look as though something has been omitted, but it could be that I will find the instructions complete once I actually get assembling underway. Since I haven't done more than look at the components and read the manual a couple of times, I haven't had need of technical assistance yet. I am anticipating hours of fun with this telescope with my wife, children, and grandchildren, and neighbors, exploring the planets and stars. Review: Clear Moon View - There is a lot to assemble for the telescope and while it wasn't hard, it wasn't easy either. It took a bit of time to put together. There is also a little bit of a learning curve to figuring out the knobs and adjustments to get a good clear view of outer space. But then again, this is our first telescope experience so all in all I don't think it was too bad. Once we got a view of the moon, it was beautiful! We got a good clear close up view of the moon and can't wait to use it again on a clear night to see what else we can see! ## Features - 130mm Newtonian Reflector: The 130mm aperture and 650mm focal length gather more light for bright views of the Moon, planets, and bright deep-sky objects. - Manual Equatorial Tracking: The EQ mount with slow-motion control cables helps you follow celestial objects as they move across the night sky. - Multiple Viewing Powers: Includes 25mm and 6.5mm eyepieces for 26x and 100x views. Use the 2x Barlow lens to double each eyepiece power. - Phone Adapter for Moon Photos: The included phone adapter and wireless remote make it easier to capture simple photos and videos through the eyepiece. - Complete Astronomy Kit: Comes with optical tube, EQ mount, tripod, red dot finder, 25mm eyepiece, 6.5mm eyepiece, 2x Barlow lens, Moon filter, phone adapter, wireless remote, and manual. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B4NNFJXL | | Additional Features | Easy Portability, Phone Adapter, Wireless Remote Control | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,397 in Camera & Photo Products ( See Top 100 in Camera & Photo Products ) #25 in Telescope Reflectors #105 in Telescope Refractors | | Brand | Koolpte | | Coating | Fully Multi-Coated XLT | | Compatible Devices | Smartphone | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 102 Reviews | | Eye Piece Lens Description | Kellner | | Field Of View | 21.67 degrees | | Finderscope | Reflex | | Focal Length Description | 650 millimeters | | Focus Type | Manual Focus | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 28.34"D x 17.32"W x 13.38"H | | Item Highlight | 650mm focal length, manual equatorial mount, phone adapter, 2x Barlow lens, Moon filter, wireless remote | | Manufacturer | HEXEUM | | Manufacturer Part Number | 130650 | | Model Name | 130EQ | | Model Number | 130EQ | | Mount | Equatorial Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Objective Lens Diameter | 13 centimeters | | Power Source | adapter | | Product Dimensions | 28.34"D x 17.32"W x 13.38"H | | Telescope Mount Description | Equatorial Mount | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Zoom Ratio | 12 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Koolpte - **Compatible Devices:** Smartphone - **Eye Piece Lens Description:** Kellner - **Finderscope:** Reflex - **Focus Type:** Manual Focus - **Model Name:** 130EQ - **Objective Lens Diameter:** 13 centimeters - **Power Source:** adapter - **Product Dimensions:** 28.34"D x 17.32"W x 13.38"H - **Telescope Mount Description:** Equatorial Mount ## Images ![130EQ Reflector Telescope, 130mm Aperture, EQ Mount - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Zw1cM-9QL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does it come with a case?** A: No. It is VERY large & stands a little over 4 feet tall. A very nice telescope. **Q: Does it come with a full sized tripod** A: Yes, Come with Manual Equatorial Mount Tripod **Q: What will I be able to see through these? I want to be able to see all the planets in our solar system with color, will this do it?** A: Yes, it really does give 100x magnification with the 6.5mm lens. You can also bump this up to 200x by popping the 6mm in the Barlow lens. The 6.5mm lens is my favorite, and has been great for viewing Saturn and the moon. Unfortunately I've not really had the opportunity to view other objects, but I'm planning to dial in on Jupiter one of these days and I'm excited just thinking about what I'll see. Happy viewing **Q: What is the outside diameter of the eye piece?** A: 1.25 inch ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The telescope is a quality item of equipment. *by K***E on January 6, 2023* The assembly instructions make it appear that it will be relatively easy to put together, although there hasn't been time available to do the assembly yet. It was fairly easy to assemble if you are reasonably handy. Once assembled I highly recommend watching youtube videos on how to set it up and calibrate the various functions. I knew nothing about telescopes before I bought this one. It took a few days and a much frustration to get it right but eventually it was worth it. I would recommend this telescope to anyone looking for the most bang for the buck. ## Frequently Bought Together - Telescope 130EQ Astronomical Reflector Telescopes - Manual Equatorial Telescope for Adults Astronomy.
