It says on the jar it is pure raw honey. **Q: Why are the trace codes the same on each bottle? Steens Manuka honey site says each should be different? Are these fake?** A: I have a few jars of Steen's manuka honey ,all from Amazon,just checked and the same batch have same trace code but different batch and date have different codes.Have put these codes into Steen's site and location is shown.Have bought this honey for many years am sure not fake. **Q: I use my honey to sweeten drinks. Is this honey okay for this as I believe it is rough.** A: Manuka honey has a different taste to your normal honey, I have tried it in with other hot drinks but I personally didn't like the taste, but it's lovely on toast. **Q: Will putting the honey in hot tea or coffee lessen its potency? I love honey in coffee, but not sure whether it will lessen its medicinal effects.** A: Wait till it is just warm before adding, if you want a healthier option add it to warm water with lemon juice, will do way more for you than tea or coffee can.
