Very comfortable, sturdy and matches our kitchen perfectly. Only issue, like others, is that not all the holes are aligned perfectly and one of the seat screws had to be cranked pretty hard to get it flush like the others. Not a big deal, but a little annoying. Metal is good gauge and screws at the bottom actually use 2 points to keep it rigid which was nice to see.

Sturdy and very easy to assemble.

I was intimidated by how many pieces this stool has, but actually it was quite easy to assemble. It came with everything needed to put it together, and assembly took me around 30 minutes. The part that took the longest was securing the seat cushion to the rest of the stool. There are about 6 screws that go into the bottom of the seat cushion, and it's difficult to get the stool in the correct place so that all the screws will go in through the metal loops in the frame and into the bottom of the seat. I recommend treating it like changing a tire on your car. Once you get the screws in the holes through the metal loops in the frame, tighten them each into the seat a little bit at a time in turn, that way you can make little adjustments to the stool's position relative to the seat as you go. Don't tighten one all the way, then move on to the next one. You might get stuck with the stool frame in the wrong position to get all the screws in. So at least in my experience, tightening them a little bit at a time will yeild the easiest results. This stool is bar height, which is perfect for my kitchen. It's easy to get into the seat without feeling like I'm going to tip it over, and the cushion is firm yet comfortable. The foot rest bar is also in a comfortable position for me, and I'm 5'6. When I sit on the stool, I feel that it's very stable and feels high quality. I'm super pleased with this seat, and I would be comfortable with guests sitting in it, knowing that it won't fall apart or fall over while they're using it. This was definitely a great choice for my kitchen, and I think it would make a great addition to any kitchen with a bar countertop.

This product came in 7 pieces with all of the screws needed plus an allen wretch. It is really easy to put together, just follow the instructions and within 5 minutes you will have the base constructed. Make sure to have all of the screws in loosely before tightening them down, in case you get a misalignment. The seat cushion is the last to go on and it just needs a few screws to lock it in place. I got the grey version, which means the base is a matte black metal and the cushion is a charcoal grey. Very classy looking. There is even a bar on the base so you can put your feet on it. I am a plus sized woman and it holds my weight well! My cats love this too. I need to get another one.

Unfortunately, I have a bad back and cannot stand for a long time. I am 6.1 and this stool is the perfect height for me. I can easily move it from the kitchen island to the stove and even though I move it around a lot, it still feels as sturdy now, after 9 months of use, and when I first put it together. I waited to review this stool because, in my experience, bar stools start becoming wobbly after a certain time. My screws out of my previous stool would just start falling out, which led to some nasty falls. This Hera’s palace bar stool has not given us any of these kinds of issues, so I am very pleased with this product. If you’re looking for something sturdy that is easy to clean, this stool is it!

I am VERY pleased with this bar stool. It is elegant, beautiful and solidly made. Super easy to put together, it hold up well and looks great. The seat is wide and comfortable, and the added foot bar is really nice. I got the taller stool but also needed a lower one. So I now have two, in black and brown, and different sizes. Both are terrific. No flaws in workmanship, legs or seat. They even provide extra screws if needed. They give you all the hardware you need (no searching for a screwdriver) and this took me a very short time to put together. The legs fit securely into the two base/main pieces, and the seat on top with 6 screws to hold into place. I'm not typically a barstool fan, but these -- I love! Plus the design goes really well with an industrial or minimalist decor. Very pleased, highly recommended product.

This was easy to assemble. It's a fairly simple design and big. It takes up a lot of space. In person, I don't find it as appealing as other bar stools. The upholstery is well done and a decent material. The design seems like it's missing something. Then I try to get onto the chair, and I realize that maybe what I feel like is missing is some way of climbing onto it. This is a difficult stool to get onto! I'm short enough and old enough that high bar stools can be a challenge, but this is in a class by itself. I think it's because there is just one foot rest bar, square corners, and no backrest or armrests to hold onto. Other stools I have used have some of these elements. Finally, I managed by using the counter and wiggling myself on to it. The stool shakes a little bit, but it is stable. The cushion is thick and will probably be durable, but I found it uncomfortable after a bit. It was hard or just not shaped well for my sitting. The foot rest bar was positioned a little higher than I would have put it. I think a lot of the problems I encountered with this stool was that it's probably more suitable to a certain height, age, agility, and sense of style than I have. For me, this was not a great stool, but probably visitors or family will use it more often.

I ordered just one to try it out before I committed to ordering all four that I need for my island. This barstool is a great color (I ordered the gray one) and I love the black metal hardware of the stool as well. It adds a little 'farmhouse' vibe in my opinion which matches the decor of my kitchen very well. The height of the barstool is also perfect for taller islands. I will say, the cushion on the barstool itself it much firmer than I was expecting. It's still comfortable to sit on, but fair warning that it's noticeably firm when you first sit on it. Other than that I really like this barstool and will most likely be ordering three more to complete the look in my kitchen.
