Help for canine dementia
My daughter is a Vet Tech and recommended this for my aging service dog who was showing signs of Sundowner Syndrome. I was skeptical at first, but it has made a significant difference! He was pacing all night and wanting to go outside when he clearly didn't need to, so, of course, I didn't get any sleep either. The Senilife really helped him to calm down and get back to his old self. However, my daughter also said that the restlessness would continue to get worse as he gets older and I should talk to vet about adding medications to help him sleep, but they will only treat the symptoms whereas the Senilife will continue to address the underlying problem.

Incredible results
Iโm not gonna lie I was skeptical of all these reviews about turning back the clock. My dog was showing signs of dementia and I was devastated and desperate to try anything. It has been so long since I last saw her play, I would take her outside to chase the ball and she would walk to it slowly or on her really bad days, get distracted halfway there and wander off. Well now itโs been two months on senilife (I give it to her every other day because she is on medicine the other days) and the results have been unreal!!! My girl is sharp again, she is running and playing every day!! I havenโt seen her run like this in at least 2 years, itโs incredible!! Every night we go outside and play again and she is so happy. I also have her doing puzzles regularly, it helps with her symptoms as well. Senilife is incredible I canโt recommend it enough!! Itโs given me my best friend back when I thought I was going to lose her. Iโm so grateful for this amazing product. Donโt hesitate, it is worth every penny. But also just know it does take some time to start working, so keep going with it.

Older dog dementia.
This product works great for my 13 year old lab. Her doggie dementia has improved. It helps her aging brain. I know it is a little spendy but it is worth it!

Made my dog very sick
Within 12 hours of the first dose it made my 15 year old English Setter very sick. I thought this was it for her. She had no appetitie. She was very lethargic. She didnt get up all day and night from the same spot. Her eyes were half open. She was non responsive. I did not give her a second dose. I began her on pepid ac. 12 hours later she was back to normal. Unfortunately, there are no returns regardless if you even opened the package. The best medicine for demenia is love and understanding and patience. I do not recommend Senilife.

Senilife is Medication that WORKS for Canine Cognitive Disorder !
Our Chesapeake Bay Retriever / Lab mix is 11 years old. He's been a bubbly, happy, puppy-like dog since we got him at 5 months. He's always been a bit skittish, but several months ago, his behavior changes drastically. He began digging up the carpeting in various rooms of the house. He would randomly paw something around the house, even in our presence - a speaker, a chair, the corner of a wall. He would scratch our bedroom door at night for what seemed like hours on end. I finally started sleeping in the same room with him. To calm him temporarily, we used a Thunder jacket and a blanket covering his head. He then got progressively worse. He would pant very heavily all night. He would cuddle up to me and bury his head nearly beneath my body. He would shake incessantly. He would walk to a corner of the room and just stand there staring. We tried Prozac because we suspected initially that it was some sort of separation anxiety, but when he exhibited the same behavior in our presence, we knew something else was wrong. A visit to the vet, along with a full blood panel, ruled out any obvious physical ailments or severe pain. After some deep despair on my part, I started reading all I could about his symptoms. My wife and I concluded that he was suffering from canine cognitive disorder. We tried three drugs on our own - Denamarin, Cholodin, and then Senilife XL. Unfortunately, we were so desperate that we had him using all three at once. He improved remarkably in about 2 weeks. We took the chance of dropping the Denamarin. It was the most difficult to easily administer (empty stomach, 1 hour before each meal, twice a day) and the most expensive. Fortunately, we believe the active ingredients in the Senilife work and we continue to give him 2 capsules daily. He's in the range of 95-100 pounds. For folks who have had the heartbreak of watching their beloved dogs lose their mental faculties (and in our case, he also started randomly pooping in the house), and feel their pets' days are numbered, this drug is a lifesaver ... for both owners and their dogs (literally). Many illnesses and conditions are beyond our control. We make our pets as comfortable as possible until the end of their lives. For cognitive impairment/degeneration, there is hope. There are other drugs available and I hope they work well. I can just attest to the effectiveness of Senilife XL. The dissipation of symptoms and the positive change in his behavior, energy level, and responsiveness to us is remarkable. He is mostly his old self again. Not perfect, but so much more than we ever expected.

Product worked very well for our older dog
Our neurological veterinarian recommended this for our 15+ year old lab mix who was showing signs of confusion at night. Within a week of starting this, she not only seemed to be significantly less confused and showed behaviors more consistent with her typical self, but she also wanted to go out more with her sister dog and has had more energy when walking than she has shown for years. This is our second time buying this and my only regret is we were not told about this when she was a couple of years younger.

Believe What you Read - Its Been Great for Jilly
My baby is a 17 year old 44# spaniel mix who was experiencing signs of dementia. In our case, wandering and complaining in the evenings, but the real problems began during the night. Getting up to roam, pushing things around (waste baskets, shower door, sofa pillows), barking, digging the carpets, wanting to go out, frantic running, climbing furniture . . . We could not soothe or settle her. She could then catch up on her sleep the next day, but WE were exhausted! About six months ago our vet mentioned Senilife - only that she'd heard some good things about it. I was doubtful that a supplement could have such an impact, but I'm SO happy we tried it because after about 3 weeks our Jilly was normal again, rarely displaying any of those symptoms. Yes she's still old and has normal aging issues, but its been absolutely life-changing for all of us. If your senior dog is having issues, its definitely worth a try. Good luck! (And yes, I know this size dose is for larger dogs. I found the little vials difficult to deal with and they were much more expensive though that's how we started and the product worked. I'm not making any recommendations on dosage, but I decided to take a chance at trying the larger pill every-other-day and its working for us. I don't puncture it, just wrap it in a special treat like liver sausage and throw it in with a meal.)

Pills are a bit big
They work well. A bit big which makes it hard to disguise in good for my pup to take. He will not eat unless hidden in food.
