This is a perfect little light for my 1 gallon nano tank. Just beware that it’s very very bright and very blue. Blue lights are great for growing plants, but also for growing lots of algae! It’s a simple light. It has no settings or timer. You can’t make it dimmer. It just is what it is. Which was to be expected for the low price, I suppose. Just be sure not to forget to turn it off!

For $10 I was kind of iffy but it’s brightness is perfect for my 360 nano. I thought putting this tank by the window for natural light would help my plants but it wasn’t doing much since it’s not direct light but this little light is pretty bright and just may do the job since my plants needed brighter direct light. We shall see how everything improves from here out.

We have been using this light for a long time now and it still works like it was day one. My plants and fish are thriving under it.

This light is awesome! When I ordered it I forgot to read, my tank has a trim, so I just lay it on the mesh. I have a 10 gallon tank and one betta. It's perfect for what I need and wanted, I have a fair amount of silk plants and two hiding things. At first he kind of freaked out and didn't like the light but it makes enough light but leaves some area not lighted. He was hiding but he likes it now, and I love how it makes the tank look.

Light went out on our Betta tank, so instead of buying new tank we tried this little light. Works perfectly and our Betta is sooooo happy to be in the light again.its small, but bright.

From the photo, I would never have guessed this light is very small. That said, it is very bright. I was hoping for a light I could put above my aquarium that would be good for plant growth....this isn't it. This light is less than 3 inches long and about 1 inch wide. Honestly, it's not expensive, so might work if you want a small, bright light for a small aquarium with plastic plants, but you will need more if you want to grow plants.

I have a large round planted betta bowl and couldn’t find a light for it. This light has a slip on screw tight clamp . But I didn’t use it , instead I had a double sided suction cup and stuck it to the clamp and on to the bowl . The arm off the light is easy to adjust to the shape of the bowl , it sits nice and even with the top of it . I also like the length of the power cord and the on / off switch .

Using this for my herbs. Works great!
