This kit is perfect;it makes you more independent if you have a partner and is essential if you are by yourself post surgery. it has the 5 things you really need. Add compression socks and a basket with a hoop handle (think Easter Basket style, to gather medicines, notebook, pen, TV charger etc.) and you are good to go. 1)The compression sock assist device makes it ossible to get ON the socks- 2)the extra long hook/shoe horn makes it possible to get the OFF, without bending. 3)The strap, which I did not think would be useful lets you lit your leg without pain or stresson your hip. 4) The loofa on the stick is a good back washing brush useful before surgery when you have to shower with antibacterial soap for three/four days. 5) The backscratcher tool was not as useful for us but someone else would find it essential. 6) THE GRABBER- you will need it and keep it forever! Pick up a dropped sock, reach for the remote control, pick up a dropped pill bottle. All good. I bought this on a whim when the algorithms of Amazon realized I was looking for post surgical items- bet buy ever. I will recommend to any friend undergoing hip or knee surgery. When you cannot, per drs instructions and the limits of pain, turn, bend, twist or even pick up something from floor…this kit has it covered.

The pieces that I did use, they worked great. The reacher arm, the grabber and the sock tools were invaluable during my recovery from surgery.

I bought this for my dad and am SERIOUSLY considering getting the same order for myself! The package arrived very and quick and actually had perfect timing! It came with 6 different pieces and had a almost 5 star rating! The price was much better than any others that I looked at before seeing this one. It also accommodates for a wide foot and leg, which my dad would need. I like that all the items came in individual plastic packaging, then all items were put into a box that fit them perfect, so there would be no bouncing around while in transport. Then it was put into the outside box so I feel confident in recommending this product and saying it will arrive in good working condition. The items looked exactly like my expected and how they were pictured. An instruction manual and assembly directions were included. In would buy this item again and I recommend it to anyone looking for similar items.

THE long handle shoe horn and grabbers/reaches. Those 2 tools have helped emensly! They've helped mostly the crucial part of my recovery of surgery, but I'd continue using those 2 items probably more often than not. I love the back scratcher but I am not allowed to use it (surgery scar) and I have used a contraption to put socks on during my Therapy but so far I haven't had a lot of reasons to use it. But overall it's an okay tool set. Just wish a person was able to mix and match their own surgical procedure tools of necessities personally, because I know that they have other "sets" that had some certain items that may have been more beneficial than some of these tools.

Exactly what was needed for getting back on your feet and taking care of yourself post surgery. Held onto the back scrubber and grabber device and still use them.

Let me star by saying, I have never left a bad review. (Until today) This my 3rd sock puller over 10yrs , the previous two were terrific! The sock puller in this kit is junk! ! The other items in the kit are fine. Please update the ropes with higer quality grade tgese should not stretch during use and evaluate the warp in vessel that holds your foot.

I recently had my right hip replaced, and being younger than most at the age of 51, I wasn’t sure that I would need the gadgets in this kit that the doctors had recommended. But I wanted to be a good patient and do what I was told, so I ordered it a couple weeks in advance of my surgery. The box was delivered very quickly on my Amazon prime account and arrived in great condition. All of the tools were included and functioned as described in the listing. I learned right away that I absolutely needed these super helpful tools. The grabber tool was my most favorite “go to” and helped me every day all day. The hook tool helped me so much to put my shoes on and my underwear and pants on. I never used the contraption to put the sock on just because I was able to bend forward, but I know a lot of people who have used it, and it has helped them a lot. The back scratcher was super helpful. I am not used to sitting for long periods of time and after sitting for a couple hours on my couch, I would definitely use the scratcher. The shower brush is long enough that you can reach everything without having to bend or maneuver very much which is ideal. These tools definitely helped me to be more independent, which was very important for me during my recovery. Successfully being able to get dressed and maintain the house while recovering definitely helped me physically and mentally during the process and helped me to recover quickly. I plan on sharing these tools with othes in my community who require some assistance after surgery and I will definitely be using these tools again as I am scheduled to have my other hip replaced as well. I highly recommend these tools.
