Great book, but beware of pointy sharp edges on some flaps
My baby and I love this book. Great and engaging illustrations, nice big flaps that are easy to grab, and very thick and sturdy (important for my little chomper!). That said, a couple of the flaps have very pointy corners (not rounded at all like other lift-flap board books), and I have to keep a close hold on my baby to make sure she doesn’t poke herself in the eye with those corners. This probably wouldn’t be an issue for a toddler, but it’s definitely a consideration for little ones who try to bring everything to their mouths.

Love this book!
This is a perfect book for my 14 month old. She loves Flip pages. Most books have flimsy flaps, but this is nice and sturdy. Purchased this based on the context and reviews. Gives nice tid bits on each animal and very cute. She can enjoy this for years!

Super cute!
I love this book! I love how sturdy the flaps are, and I love all the different animals in it - even some kinds that aren't talked about much at this age. It goes beyond the typical deer, bear, owl, fox and includes the otter, badger, bobcat, several specific kinds of birds, and others. It shows what the babies are called, and has fun facts about some of them. I will definitely be looking into getting more of these peek a flap books! One of my new faves!!

I learned a lot!
This is such a cute book! I actually learned a lot from it too! My one year old loves the flaps and can easily turn the thick pages :)

Perfect little lift-flap board book for little hands!
My son adores this book! He’s 18 months and loves that he can handle the flaps himself without me worrying about him ripping them right off and spends ages studying the pictures and opening and closing the flaps! Great buy!

Great! There’s plenty to read to baby. The flaps are abundant, big, sturdy with adequate thickness. The book is colorful with interesting facts. We’re very happy with it.
