Recoil’s patented foldable silicone speaker baffle kits are designed to improve the directional flow of sound waves and focus them into cabin. It perfectly seals the speaker against the interior panel. The egg crate captures the back wave reflections of the speaker. It also offers waterproof protection for speakers. The foldable ring fits different speakers’ installation depth.

**Q: Will these work for 6.75”?**
A: Not sure but most of the time the speaker basket remains the same from a 6.5 to a 6.75

**Q: Will this benefit component speakers?**
A: They keep water off of the speaker in the event of rain or a car wash. If you’re sure that no water will ever get on them, then don’t bother. Otherwise, they’re cheap insurance.

**Q: Will this help with harshness and shrill treble ?**
A: It will help give resonance to your speakers. Maybe look at adjusting your equalizer and cutting some highs out. I have these on all four of my 6.5” mid components and they’re fantastic..

**Q: Do you make this for 6.5” speakers?**
A: I’m using them on JBL GTO630s, which are 6.5”.

First time I've ever used baffles and I'm impressed. They make a nice seal to the Metra adapter ring on my 2014 GMC Sierra. I would buy them again. I hear a better bass response which could be the upgraded speakers but I like the protection factor with keeping water off the magnet of the speaker.

All speakers were well broken in and sounded good. I was considering installing a small sub and replacing the factory head unit.
