Rockport Men's Storm Surge Waterproof Sneaker

I've been wearing these shoes for 3 years now, and they're still nice and sturdy. The treads are slightly worn down, but still have much more grip than any other shoe I've had as long. They are excellent in the snow, and on ice. I periodically oil or wax the leather to keep them waterproof. The leather has broken in nicely, and I love how they look now. The inside has held up nicely, with only a slight deformation where my big toes rub against the upper-side with every step, but they show abolutely no outward sign of this. If you want a quality product that is durable, waterproof, comfortable, and (I personally think) rather good looking, you can't go wrong with these Rockports.

It's been a rainy winter so far here in SoCal and I decided I'd finally get some waterproof shoes to wear to work. I chose these because they work well with khakis as well as jeans and looked sturdy in the pictures. I've been really pleased with them. They are very stable and comfortable, and don't make my feet overly warm (something that I was concerned about with waterproof shoes). They do seem to resist water pretty well, at least well enough for my purposes. They look very nice and ruggedly professional. Best of all they fit just right (the size 9 medium fits my size 9 medium feet) and the insole can be removed so I can wear them with my Superfeet insoles. The soles feel supportive but also comfortable for walking. I like them so much that I wear them on dry days as well as rainy days. I can't speak to durability since I have only worn them for a few weeks but they look solidly constructed. I am glad I bought these and I will definitely be trying more Rockport styles in the future.

Product fit well and was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I needed to get a half size down from my standard size (11) and wasn't very comfortable until I broke them in after a week of wearing them.

Winter and snow champion. This guy has got me through the rough cold of North eastern US. It keeps my feet dry, and I've had this for months now. One warning though: yesterday I slipped on ice wearing it. The soles are still rugged and didn't wear off, so my guess is that when the ground is icy, not even a good grip can save you. I should add that the dangerous "smoothness" on the ice did not begin the moment I started walking. The sole gradually took on ice that made it loose grip. I'm just guessing as to the reason though.

I have had Rockport shoes for 20 years. These are just wanna-be's. Shoe seems fine and does look nice till the first time it touches something else. I think it scratches just looking at it. It's a nice office shoe and comfortable to wear, but probably a bit stiff for a walking shoe. (hurt my heels after a couple of miles) I was looking for more arch support, but these are better for flat feet.

I ordered 11 E and the shoe was too long so I re-ordered 10.5 E and the shoes were too small. I had not sent back the first pair, so I tried them on again and found that just the left shoe was too long and the right shoe fit perfectly. Once again I re-ordered 11 E and the shoes fit absolutely perfect. I am glad I did not simply give up on them. Okay, now about the shoe. They feel very supportive. They seem very well made. Sturdy but not heavy or clunky. They are advertised as sneakers and I think that may be a bit of a stretch. I have wide feet and have a hard time finding shoes that fit. These fit and feel wonderful. In a couple of months if I am still thrilled with them I will order another pair or two because shoe companies have a habit of changing things up.

My sole came off after just a few outings, but after the return window available on Amazon. I contact Rockport twice for repair or replacement and they refuse to honor the purchase because I bought the shoes from a "third party" provider. I tried to explain that I bought them from the Rockport storm on Amazon but that didn't matter to them. Buy if you'd like but know you won't have any support. Update - I've continued to try to get support for these shoes and Rockport refuses to support shoes sold through Amazon, stating that the Rockport Store is third-party retailer. They have stopped communicating with me. In summary, Amazing says I must get support from Rockport. Rockport insisted I must get support through Amazon. I still have worthless shoes.

Este es el primer par de zapatos que adquiero de esta marca y me dejó gratamente sorprendido la calidad de sus materiales y manufactura, ya no digamos la comodidad al caminar. Se ven muy bien y combinan perfectamente con jeans y khakis.

Really good bang for buck. Super happy with my buy and never had work shoes feel so nice on my feet. No squishing of the toes up the end, it’s not so rigid it cuts into your ankles or rubs, standing in them the cushion for your feet is super absorbent and very forgiving when standing for long periods and helps a lot with the back aches. Quality is fantastic. I haven’t found a stitch or anything out of place and they look like a good quality pair of shoes Packaging came nice and neat all in plastic inside the cardboard box. That’s my only bug is I wish they didn’t waste plastic bag inside the cardboard shoe box. Anyway super happy with my big and I’m sure you will be too. Def buying another pair in the future
