Is this designed for a pipe with a 4.5" od, or a 4" od?

It made to fit SCH 40 PVC Pipe which has an OD of 4.5" and an ID of 4". PVC pipe is sold by its inside dimension. Uniseals are labeled for the size pipe they fit. In this case 4" pvc.

Will this work with 4" sewer pipe? it has an od of 4.2" instead of the 4.5" od of schedule 40.

4.2 = approximately 4.016" there is slight gap 4.5=approximately 4.0375" see if there is a bell reducer. or a flex coupling
