Work as expected on my setup

I got a new computer, but the monitor is old enough I obviously needed an adapter. This works perfectly. I'm very pleased with the ease of use and the picture is actually better than with our last computer, so it definitely shows upgrades with the new, better video hardware. Very happy with the adapter and for the money, I certainly have no complaints.

Newer laptops do not bring the VGA output anymore so I ordered an adaptor for my 27-inch monitor, that does not have an HDMI port. It works great and the picture quality is amazing. now I am pleased with having an extended display without needing to have a long cable attached to the monitor. Use it also for my PS3 and Chromebook without any issues.

I am connecting with with my DVI on the docking station to Monitor's HDMI. there is a decent upgrade I picture quality as I was using VGA cable before.

Works as advertised. A bit hard to plug in, just means it has tight tolerances. Though, one thing to note, I had issues using Android MHL on it, not a big deal, I bought it for my laptop, not my phone or tablet. I was just using it to test on my tablet since it was less hassle that way. As others have noted. NO SOUND OUT, again, not a problem. Prefer my laptop speakers to anything I own currently. I have it hooked up to a full HD monitor and unlike what others have been reporting, I am able to get full hd to it without any issue.

I used this for a very unusual setup, yet it still worked flawlessly. I have an old CRT that I like to have hooked up to my PC as a secondary monitor via an AV to HDMI adapter. However, I wanted to free up some HDMI slots on my GPU and had a DVI port that was begging to be used. My CRT is now adapting from AV to HDMI to DVI and working great, thanks to this little guy.

Simple adapter; self explanatory. Seller was perfect. Once again, Amazon claims they put all three orders in the side door or on the back porch, but they were propped against the Front Door, where packages are most likely to walk. 🙄

For my job, I frequently need 3-4 different screens open for viewing at the same time. To achieve this I purchased two ultrawide monitors. The problem arose when I realized the monitors only had HDMI inputs and my computer only had a single HDMI port. A splitter wouldn't work because I would not be able to extend my desktop onto both monitors, nor would a switch. I ordered and tried a VGA to HDMI but it would not work and after doing a little more research I found that HDMI cannot reliably be converted to VGA but it can be converted to DVI. I ordered this little cable and once it arrived, I had both monitors connected and working within minutes! Since I am only using this for spreadsheets and various other work related screens I cannot really speak to actual picture quality but from what I can tell it looks as good as my other monitor that is hooked up with direct HDMI.

I'm currently creating a dual screen set up. My graphics card only has one slot for HDMI and this adapter works perfectly so I can use my DVI slot for the 2nd monitor.
