Makes good ice cubes for drinks, if a little small. The ice cubes do melt quickly due to size. For cocktails 5 - 6 small cubes from this with one large ice cube gives easer option for the one whole, one cracked for shacking technique. stores wellin freezer, can be a bit slower to freeze th cubes fully due to the extra plastic around the trays.

Bought this for ease of use removing cubes. Works good. Easy to use just press down and they release. Nice plastic acrylic bin. Keeps freezer orders away.

I’ve been using this for a week and could not be happier. The cubed freeze just as fast as any other ice cube tray, I don’t know what some of the other reviewers were talking about. Very easy to pop out into the storage compartment. Has not leaked. The whole thing seems very well made. I don’t see any weak points. I’ll update my review if things go wrong, but so far I’m able to easily and quickly fill my 40 ounce tumbler every morning. I love it!

I wanted to love this, like 5 star love, and some aspects I do love. First, love the ice cube size, love the lid for the trays and love the concept of easy ice cube removal. I suffer from not enough twist for the plastic trays. If you have a pull out freezer drawer, consider how much space you have to put the ice bin and how much other stuff you have in there now. I find it very challenging to get the bin and two trays back in that drawer. Maybe I need to better manage my freezer content, probably so, but that’s my issue and squeezing the ice bin in makes refilling a project. If this sounds like you, plan on having tocompensate for the near full freezer drawer. Note I did make space for the ice bin but didn’t factor in how difficult it would be to get that back in. I developed a 3+ step process, return bin with ice, fill & return tray 1 (includes repositioning until sides match),repeat with tray 2 and finally return lid and gently close the drawer. It works but I was hoping I could just fill stack and return, but in practice that is not a good strategy. The other thing I don’t love is getting the ice out. Instructions say leave out for a bit before releasing the ice. Well, first go on that I discovered there is a fine line between too long (imagine finding a clump of ice cubes from the melting ice you just introduced into the bin). I found with a little more force & persistence, the ice will come out without waiting. Lastly, I find the trays don’t stack up easily. I am always trying to get the alignment, in the small top drawer space, with water sloshing around the trays. I’m getting better so maybe I need practice. Lastly, the ice holder tray is smaller. No I did not measure it before I ordered so this is totally on me. It’s getting to be iced coffee season and iced everything so I imagine I will run into a lot of ice rationing with this set up. With all this said, still giving 4 stars as it’s really my preferences that are drawbacks for me. I like the ease of use & the size of the ice cubes. I also like that you get the bin, scoop and lid but the size is on the smaller side for me. The rest of my petty complaints will likely fade in time as I compensate my preferences to the reality of what I have. Hope sharing my experience helps you.
