Absolutely a godsend, my husband is in a chair and was constantly dropping his Omnipod dash meter, I had to buy him another outright because he didn't have enough protection, now that we could buy a leather wallet for his pdm, it has saved a crack screen and broken buttons now that he has padding all the way around to protect it.

This is the only Dash PDM case I could find that isn't made out of silicone, so I was really excited to find it. I ordered this item ~40 days ago, however due to difficulties scheduling training for my new Omnipods, I have only been using this item for 3 days. Yes, 3 days. This morning I found that the PU leather is already starting to noticeably degrade. At this rate the item will be unuseable inseide a month. The degradation isn't even in an area that is touched during handling of the unit. Also, every time you try to push the start button on the PDM to turn it on, which is every single time you look at it since it times out after 2 minutes, the PDM slides out of the frame. So: 1.) Serious design flaw makes it difficult/annoying to use. 2.) Poor quality PU leather means it won't last more than a few weeks.

E quando la gente ti vede aprirla, scommetto che pensano che stai per rivelare i segreti dell'universo, ma no, è solo il tuo super PDM protetto da una corazza di pelle! Poi c'è il fatto che non ingombra. Sì, perché chi vuole sembrare di avere una mattonella in tasca? Con questa custodia, il tuo PDM diventa più sottile di una diapositiva di PowerPoint. È come fare un upgrade da un paio di jeans degli anni '90 a un paio di chinos slim fit. La copertura in pelle sul frontale? Non è solo una scelta di stile, amici. È un'assicurazione contro la legge di Murphy: "Se può rompersi, si romperà". E con uno schermo che è più grande dei miei sogni di vacanza, è chiaro che ci vuole più di un semplice sguardo per proteggerlo. È come dire, "Caro schermo, ti ho messo la pellicola protettiva, ma se ti rompi, ti avverto che ti sostituirò con uno schermo più resistente e meno incline a drammi da telenovela". Infine, una confessione: ho già vissuto l'apocalisse dello schermo rotto. Credetemi, è più traumatico di rimanere senza caffè un lunedì mattina. Quindi, prendete questa custodia come un mantra: "Meglio prevenire che dover spiegare perché piangi davanti a un PDM in frantumi". In conclusione, se non volete finire a raccontare storie tristi del vostro PDM deceduto, questa custodia è l'investimento più intelligente da fare. E ricordate, non è paranoia se il destino ha davvero un rancore contro i vostri dispositivi elettronici. Cinque stelle, e possa la custodia essere con voi!
