Designed for durability and eco-conscious travelers, it features water-resistant DuraGuard polyester, recycled interior lining, and multiple organizational compartments including a drop-bottom shoe section. Its ergonomic padded strap and rear stacking strap ensure hands-free convenience, while the Limited Lifetime Warranty and Trusted Companion Promise provide reliable protection against travel wear and tear. ## Description The Maxlite 5 Drop-Bottom Weekender is ultra-lightweight, ultra-durable, and ready for any trip. The interior lining made from 100% recycled bottles and treated with H2O guard is water-resistant and eco-conscious. Overall/Case Dimensions: 15.75 in x 19 in x 9 in, **Q: Is this bag sturdy enough to check (instead of carry on)?** A: Yes it's sturdy. But very lightweight so don't pack breakable things if you check it. Also remove the shoulder strap and reattach it when you pick up your bag. **Q: Under seat? I read conflicting reviews about under seat storage. Has anyone actually used it on a regional jet by laying it on its side?** A: This model is sized for overhead bin storage. It is too big for under seat storage. We do offer an UnderSeat Carry-on Travel Tote in our Maxlite 5 line. ## Frequently Bought Together - Travelpro Maxlite 5 Softside Carry-on Weekender with Drop-Bottom Compartment, Lightweight Overnight Travel Duffel Bag, Men and Women, Black, 19-Inch - Travelpro Maxlite 5 Softside Lightweight Underseat Carry-On Travel Tote, Overnight Weekender Bag - Travelpro Maxlite 5 Softside Expandable Carry on Luggage with 4 Spinner Wheels, Lightweight Suitcase, Men and Women, Black, Carry On 21-Inch --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/460072543-maxlite-5-drop-bottom-weekender](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/460072543-maxlite-5-drop-bottom-weekender) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
