The drawstring is a nice fabric, seems well made. I’m a female human being :) 5’7 1/2”, 35 1/2in hips & the “waist’ fits comfortably on the hips. They are incredibly soft… The ONLY reason I’m returning these is: These are made out of that thick fleece material you buy for kid craft projects & even though the ‘waist’ fits perfect for my hips… it then fits as if I’m wearing an XL around my legs. I bought these as indoor/outside wear…& between the thickness of the material & size, it doesn’t suite my need for them. If you just want very comfy PJs, these are perfectly fine! (just be aware that MEDIUM has a LOT of leg room… the material is NOT thin, & one needs to HAND WASH. **Q: Why do you not have a size chart?
