After just 5 months, the fingerprint sensor on this Sony mobile stopped working, and it's not an isolated case. Many users worldwide seem to face the same problem, yet Sony offers no helpful support and seems indifferent to fixing it. Very disappointing for a product of this caliber.

Phone is less than a year old and the fingerprint scanner has died. Same as all my previous Sony phones, fingerprint scanner will die after a period of time. This one was particularly fast. A month later, the power button died, this meant replacing the whole button rail. Who knows how long that lasts for.
