Fast, Portable, and Easy to Use Ice Maker
I absolutely love this portable ice maker! It’s incredibly convenient, easy to use, and works so much faster than the smart ice maker I previously had. It produces ice quickly and consistently, which makes it perfect for everyday use, parties, or just having cold drinks ready at any time. The size is compact enough that it doesn’t take up much space, and it’s simple to set up and operate right out of the box. I also appreciate how reliable it is compared to other models I’ve tried — it just gets the job done without any hassle. Overall, I’m really impressed with this ice maker. It’s fast, efficient, and definitely worth it if you want something portable and dependable. Highly recommend!

Works Great but Dont leave Empty & unPlugged
Purchased on Aug 5,2024 and it was wonderful . Semi quiet & made lots of ice. I had to go out of town for 8days, emptied, stopped, unplugged, cleaned. Came home & we had ice storm & w/out power 1/23- 2/2, finally added water & now it eould not freeze or draw the water up to freeze. Waiting on resolution of replace/refund or buy another.

Works pretty fast
It’s pretty small which i prefer because I don’t like a cluttered countertop but so it’s the ice. The machine makes a full basket of ice within 30-45 minutes so it works pretty fast. It has a self cleaning option. The machine comes in other colors and it makes noise at all times but very low. The ice is pretty small and hollow in the middle so it melts faster than fridge ice maker ice. I am not sure if I would repurchase for the current price though. I expected regular ice tray solid ice size I guess.

Best Ice Maker I have Ever Used
Here are the pros and cons of the COWSAR Ice Maker Countertop, a portable ice machine with self-cleaning functionality: Pros: Convenience: Portable ice makers like the COWSAR offer convenience by producing ice quickly and on demand, eliminating the need to buy bags of ice or wait for ice cube trays to freeze. Compact Design: Designed for countertops, these machines are generally compact and do not take up much space, making them suitable for small kitchens, RVs, or other limited spaces. Speed: They typically produce ice cubes in a relatively short amount of time, often within 6 to 15 minutes, depending on the model and settings. Self-Cleaning Functionality: The self-cleaning feature simplifies maintenance by automating the cleaning process, ensuring the ice maker remains hygienic and efficient. Customization: Many models allow you to select different ice cube sizes (small, medium, large), catering to various preferences or specific cooling needs. Cons: Limited Storage: Portable ice makers usually have a limited storage capacity for ice cubes compared to larger, built-in ice makers or freezers. This means you may need to transfer ice to another container if you need a large amount. No Freezer Compartment: They do not have a freezer compartment to store ice for long periods, so unused ice will eventually melt back into the water reservoir and be recycled into new ice cubes. Noise Levels: Some models can be noisy during operation, especially when the ice is being formed or transferred to the storage basket. This noise may be noticeable in quieter environments. Water Requirement: These machines require a continuous supply of water to produce ice cubes, either from a water reservoir that needs refilling or a direct water line connection. Initial Investment: While generally more affordable than built-in ice makers, portable ice makers still represent an initial investment, which may not be worthwhile if you have infrequent ice needs or limited countertop space. Before purchasing a COWSAR Ice Maker Countertop or any similar product, consider your ice consumption habits, available space, and whether the convenience of having ice on demand outweighs the potential drawbacks of noise, maintenance, and storage limitations.

bad customer service on a failed item on amazon and or the maker
i loved the icemaker worked great for about five months then quit making ice, i read the trouble shooting steps and also went on the manufactures site and google to see what i could do i unplugged over night then tried again the next day it halfway worked for a few hours then quit again, i finally found a chat area with amazon and explained my issue and did the cleanings etc. the person was very helpful and contacted the maker and in about ten minutes came back and told me they are sending you a replacement and do not worry about sending the defective item back they will send you an email when it ships etc, i thanked her for her help i was very impressed with the help i received. about four weeks went by and no word so i tried to find chat again and couldn't find it but found a phone number for amazon and called them the person i talked to said she couldn't find anything about it and gave me a couple of options the last was i can box it up and either have UPS pick it up which is not an option for me or i can take it to them, which after being told not to return it did not make me happy at all i could of disposed of it and would of been out of any refund, so i took it to UPS, today i had an email that my refund has been issued and they charged me over $15. so once again i had to find a number and call them they informed me that it was past 30 days and it was a restocking charge, i explained again what amazon told me and he kept repeating himself, i stopped him and said why are you restocking a failed item? he went right back to it's over the 30 day etc. i even explained to him i've been with prime since it came out and you are quoting a return of a new unused or damaged item, don't need etc. i had to ask for a manager and waited for awhile then i had to explain again and a little back and forth she refunded the rest to me. i really can't put words to this, was i lied to the first time? by amazon or the maker etc. i am not joking about at least an hour and a half trying to find chat, going through amazons customer service steps the close to 20 mile round trip etc. and i am still at square one, no working ice maker, do i trust this brand? roll the dice and try another in my price range etc. i bought this due to the ratings and i needed to have one for the ice pack machine the spine hospital gave me after my Surgery. i am loosing my faith in amazon's customer service, they used to be great / the maker contacted me and explained what had happened was due to an employee had left due to having a baby and my issue was not passed on quick enough and apologized several times kept in touch with me etc. and made it right with me which is not common thing anymore i am impressed

RUN away from this brand !!!!!
I wish I could rate this ZERO stars or less. I bought this ice maker May 2024 to use in my camper. I've used it about 4 or 5 times on camping trips. I pulled it out this spring to clean it and make sure it works. Well, guess what. It no longer works. Filled it with water and turned it on. the ice tray starts to move and then just starts clicking and won't cycle into position to fill. If I reach in and help it a little, it will cycle into the fill position, fill with water, makes the ice, proceeds to cycle and the water tray gets stuck again needing a little bit of help. After doing this a few times I noticed some heavy black chunks in the bottom. Turns out it is grease. I pulled the cover off to see what's going on. The drive motor for the ice tray has exploded apart and the black grease is coming out of the motor, along the D shaft and getting into the ice making chamber. The motor is so hot that you can not touch it and you can smell it burning. I suspect the motor has overheated and melted plastic gears inside of itself and that is why the water tray does not cycle. In the trash this POS goes. Even if it did work, I now fear that it may catch on fire. Stay away from this model and brand. I used my infrared thermometer on the motor and it is over 250 degrees F !!!!!!! and it was unplugged for over 10 minutes at that point.

Stopped working with less than 5 months of use and seller couldn’t care less. Still haven’t gotten a solution. Very disappointing.

Very Good Ice Maker
This Ice maker Prints ICE! Super solid if your fridge doesnt come with an ice maker or need ice stat for a party. Pour a full glass of water into it till the MAX line, and constantly make ice quickly, and keep refilling as much as you want and keep the machine running . i reconmend making the Bigger Ice option as its still quite small but perfect for Matcha or ice Coffee ice size. tbh i just make alot of ice and store it in the freezer after lol

Quiet, Effective Ice Maker, Easier to Clean
Edit: this broke within 10 months. Previously, I bought ice makers branded as "405," the first of which lasted three years before getting too filthy to use, and the second one lasted only a year an a half before breaking down. From what I can see, almost all ice makers in this class (the 10-30,000 yen range) have the exact same innards, probably made by one company, and then they have different and varying cases added by a variety of companies. I have only had it running for a few days, but here are my initial impressions. This ice maker (COWSAR) has a few big advantages: • A huge advantage is cleaning. The Cowsar, like many other new ice machines, has screws on the top where the clear flip-up cover meets the button-panel back top cover. Unscrewing these allows you to remove the top and clean the ice-making assembly. Without that ability, it's impossible to clean, and that whole area becomes a mass of mold and mildew. I count this as a critical feature. • Another advantage is noise. This one is far quieter than the 405 model I had before, notably so. The disadvantages: • The water and ice tank is too small. It's probably the 1.2-liter size. The 405 model has a 2-liter tank, which means more water to allow for more ice between refills, and more ice stored at one time. The smaller tank is usable, but it really makes the machine much more maintenance-heavy. In fact, I noticed that you get the "tank empty" light even when the tank is almost half full, because that much water is necessary to fill the ice-making trough. • You can only empty the water tank with a plug at the bottom. That might be OK if the ice maker is in the kitchen, but I use it in my home office—which means I'll have to bring up a water container and hold the machine over it. Looks like it'll be a hassle. Is it too much to ask for a draining tube? I am hoping that the little plastic grate over the intake tube at the bottom of the tank is removable. It really serves no purpose (nothing gets in the tank that is so big to be stopped by a grate), and it makes it much harder to clean that area, which often gets dirty. I have to read the manual a bit more to figure out more about the controls—it seems like there is no way to choose the size of the ice, though I don't see that as a great disadvantage.
