Beautiful clock that is easy to set up and works as intended. It is loud too. To the reviewers who say you can’t set the time to the exact minute, you need to learn how to read a clock. It most definitely can be set to the minute. It’s a clock and an alarm and it works fine. It also has a light button. There are instructions on the back that are easy to miss. It reads that you must turn the clock hands in a certain direction only or you will make the clock lose time. This means that if you go past the time you wanted to set it at, keep turning it in the same direction to get back to that time again.

Very very loud alarm, definitely serves its purpose well! I’ve had it for a couple weeks and it tells time accurately thus far, it is aesthetically pleasing, and has a very nifty light button that allows you to see the time in the dark when you press on it.

It's beautiful and loud.....but The clock knob is a little flimsy though and you do have to manually switch the alarm to off and then on again at night because doesn't have am/pm function or snooze. Idk if that's normal with these types of clocks though but it's hopefully gonna get the job done for my teen if she remembers to reset the alarm every night.

Except for one loose button on the back, which functions for now. It is very loud. I can hear it with noise-cancelling headphones on! I tried three clocks before I found this one! I am so happy. I need this for appointments in the early morning! I love the color. It is heavy metal and very sturdy. The second hand, due to the battery, slides along. Great for timing my exercises! As long as the button does not fail, I will order again if it stops being on time. Thanks!!!!! I have to keep track of when it slows down to change the battery. It would be nice if it had a low battery warning. But not a deal breaker. Great for power outages.

I love the look of the old fashioned alarm clock but the main thing is that it WAKES ME UP!! I am a seriously deep, deep sleeper and the loudest alarm on my phone just doesn’t work for me. Even if I set it to go off every 5 minutes. But the hammer and bells on this thing does the trick. I would definitely put a new battery in before very important appointments but otherwise it’s just great!

If this doesn't wake you up, you should probably see a doctor because something is seriously wrong with you. It's painfully loud and sends me in a terrified panic, sheets flying, stumbling as quickly as I can to shut the thing off. In fact, I put duct tape on the inside and outside of the bells where the hammer strikes to take the shrill edge off the obnoxious sound and it still freaks me out every morning. Now it's more like a pleasant fire alarm. I used to keep it down the hall from my bedroom in an attempt to trick myself into more bodily movement before turning it off, hoping that'd make me alert enough to not slink back to my beloved, warm sheets. It worked, and yes, was still loud enough to wake me up, but it was too long an epic journey in the dark with a Nazgul Fellbeast screaming at me, it's shriek echoing off the tile in a horrific echo chamber (at 5:00 am, this doesn't feel like exaggeration). The clock itself looks classy in just about any setting (I have the black one). The one real danger this kind of alarm clock poses is that you MUST TURN IT ON EVERY NIGHT OR ELSE IT WON'T WORK. For example, my alarm is set for 5:00. That means that if the switch on the back is set to "on," it'll ring any time the clock hits 5:00 without recognizing a difference between am and pm. Thus, you can't just turn it off in the morning then back on again. You must leave the alarm turned off until 5:00 pm passes, then turn it on and you're set for the morning. In essence, some people will need set set a phone alarm to remember to set the clock alarm. Kind of silly. However, if you can make a habit out of turning on the alarm as part of your bedtime routine, this clock will be good to you. Well. . . These are pretty awesome Kinda cheap insides which you can mess up if you turn the Dias the wrong way Thing is that lightness of the plastic intwrnals make the batteries last a long time. Overall excellent for the price and it will wake your ass up

Bought as gift for someone who sleeps through alarm, after abnoxious alarm, for hours. Successfully woke on first go, as well as confusing people outside. Pretty and has no snooze or excess functions (which was actually a goal in this case so he had to get out of bed and switch it off instead of accidentally turning things off/snoozing and returning to sleep). Finally can stop missing critical things :)
