Perfect
Absolutely stunning blanket - I needed one and started looking and blankets were popping up for $900 and $700+ - well folks that's out of my league and I would feel like a fool if I spent that much on something hidden under a coverlet. But this looked so charming and goes so well with a soft pink theme in the bedroom (and coverlet) I took a chance on it. I have read that fleece breaks down and gets into the water supply and I just wanted a nice natural blanket - this is just perfect. And it was such a comfortable weight and it breathes. (Last summer made mistake of buying microfiber sheets and nearly died of the lack of air - no more manmade stuff for me). Very pretty and I am extremely happy - not to mention that it seems romantic to have an "Australian" blanket. Why? I don't know, just does.

Not 100% merino wool
I ordered this blanket because I have other merino wool blankets and they are soft and warm. I liked the look of this blanket with its grayish plaid wool design and when it arrived it had the nice look of the pictures on Amazon's website. But I don't think this blanket is 100% merino wool because it is very itchy and not soft like other merino wool blankets. I believe that they mix other wool that is more cheaper and coarser than merino wool because this blanket is very itchy!

Not what I was expecting ... but great anyway
I ordered this thinking it was an electric blanket. I don't know how I ended up ordering this after looking at electric blankets, but low and behold, I did. However, I really like it, despite my mistake. It's not SUPER soft, comfy, and silky, but it is nice. It's thin enough that when we put it on our bed, it did not overheat us, but it did keep us perfectly warm. If I have any issues, I'll update this review.

Wool Blanket
This is a very warm and pretty blanket. It's not bulky or itchy. It keeps us very warm on the cold nights.

This blanket is great for winter
Heavy enough for winter and regulates heat well. Would be a little too heavy for spring summer. Worth the price.
