Uppercut Deluxe Detox and Degrease Shampoo, Deep Clean Shampoo to Remove Build Up, Suitable For Oily Hair Types, with Added Charcoal 240ml

This used to be my go to shampoo for cleaning a build up of wax and grease hair products. This new version however is completely useless. After 3 washes there is no break down of product and my hair is still very greasy. The older versions cleaned my hair in one use. Time to look elsewhere.

This Uppercut Deluxe Detox and Degrease Deep Cleansing Shampoo is exactly what I was looking for and it does what it's supposed to do perfectly. I am familiar with the Uppercut brand as they are focused on men's products, and a few of those products that I ordered from Uppercut were of good quality. I use products for my hair, so after a while, my hair starts looking dull and heavy, and my regular natural shampoos don't seem to get the grease out completely. This shampoo takes care of that stubborn grease and leaves my hair very soft and full. It comes in a smallish size bottle, but a little goes a long way. The liquid is black in color and has a thick consistency. It smells nice, lathers well, and rinses off clean. The shampoo does have some harsh chemical ingredients, but I won't be using it as my daily shampoo, instead, it will be used once a week to remove any excess product from my hair. The price is a bit premium, but you're getting a good product. Overall, I like this detox and degrease shampoo and would recommend it.
