Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed Bars, 4 lbs,1 Pound (Pack of 4)

Problem: A pair of breeding rats and their first brood moved into our house over the winter. I'd tried not to kill them because a family member was insistent on repelling or catching them. I think there were the two adult rats and probably eight or nine younger rats. I used sonic repellents, mint sprays at first, but as there were more and more rats, I graduated to Rat X and glue traps. The only things that seemed to catch or kill the rats were a box of dark chocolate that one of them had gorged on and Kat Sense covered rat traps. 4/10/23 Monday PM put down the put the first of the Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bars down. It was so big and impossible to break apart so I just put it on a throwaway plastic plate. Didn't want to buy a bait station. Per the Amazon product page the bait bars kill rodents in just 6-8 days. The rats were being baited in a room none of the family pets or other people in the house would have access to so I would not have to worry about accidental exposure. Nineteen minutes later, It didn’t take long before the rats started on the Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar. They were already trying to pull it off the plate to where they were holed up. 4/11/23 Tuesday AM. A rat barreled from under my feet to the side of the room with its nest. There must have been a senior rat feeding on the Rodentex Multifeed bar that chased it off or maybe it felt the urge to find water. PM I heard Rat distress noises. The Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar must be working. Later in the evening the rats quieted down. I am hoping they are running out of the house. They are desperate for water. 4/12/23 Wednesday AM I’m hearing another rat squeaking from somewhere. The Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar says 6-8 days later it kills. Today is only day three. I heard more squeaks from the rats living in house. None came out so I am assuming they are weakening. I need to check if they still have enough Rodentex to feed on. Later in the AM. The first block of Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar is gone. They probably chewed it down far enough that they could break it apart and store it. Put out a second block and yes I hear rat activity and chewing. Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar fulfills its promise that there is no avoidance of its product. We’ll have to see how deadly it is. 4/13/23 Thursday After putting out the third Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar, been in a tug of war with the stupid rats. They keep trying to pull it out of sight where they can feed without being seen. Then I come along and replace the bar on the plate where I can see them if they are eating it. They are. 4/14/23 Friday AM Marveled because there is no rat activity. Usually, I'd be hearing them even in the daytime. I heard some rat shuffling. Most of the night the third Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar was where I left it on the plate. I know there is at least one rat doing the tug of war with the third Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar. I just put it back on the plate. 4/15/23 Saturday AM Rat removed the third Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar and is snacking somewhere it. As long as the others don’t show up, I don’t care. I am not smelling any dead rats but I think I am only seeing a single rat now. Either the others went off and died or now that it has warmed up they are no longer sheltering in the house. There are plenty of places for them to seek food and shelter. The biggest rat surprised me by walking by my foot. It was moving uneasily and managed to get back to its den. This is probably the same rat that I was having the tug of war with yesterday with the third Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar. If I needed proof that the Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar is doing the work, I have it. The interesting thing is that I am not smelling any dead rat. That means the rats are going someplace else and then they die. Maybe when I go outside I will see more dead rats. 4/16/23 Sunday AM Absolutely no rat activity. Could it be? Third Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar is all it took to wipe them all out? The directions did say 6-8 days. There have been no rats all morning. PM Found the last rat. It had crawled into a hallway and died. Bagged it up and put it out with the trash. No rats all day. 4/17/23 Monday No rat noises. No rats. No dead rat smell. Obviously, I need to buy more Farnam Rodentex Multi-Feed bar for the next rat invasion.

Easy to use but read the instructions carefully. Works fast. I broke the product into small pieces but extremely careful not to let it touch my skin. I broke it into pieces before opening product then cut open the top of the plastic package then extremely carefully at no time allowing product to touch skin while using latex plastic glove pushed product into corners of house. WASH hands at least 5 min afterwards. Takes few days for mice to mice to eat product. Hint. Get rid of any food sources mice might have been eating before. Make them starving enough to get curious about the bait

Seem to work rather well but have to continue monthly use or they multiply again..

Got these to help in unexpected and unwanted guests. They have helped with a combination of other things as well. Have been a major factor of getting rid of unwanted mice before they become to much. They enjoy their free meal.

Product works great. Amazon delivery is horrible.

I put a chunk of a brick in the pantry. They snacked on it for a few days and nothing happened. A good week went bye and I never saw another one……. Alive

Not sure why Amazon allows customers like this to display their product for people to purchase the worst product ever. It feeds the mice and they don’t die after using it. My apartment has been filled with a lot of mice after that. I don’t know what happened if it was food for them or what to help them reproduce or what. Bad product do not purchase it trust my review.
