My old clips that came with my clipper broke after about 10 years of use. These ones feel so much better on my scalp. The plastic has a much smoother feel than the ones that originally came in my set and the metal clips give me a little peace of mind that they wont snap. The case is pretty nice too.

These fit my Surker perfectly. They are heavy duty. Beautiful case! I don't know how they could be any better!

My wife used these on her whal 2000 clippers and they were a great replacement for the old ones that were either old and brittle or lost. They snap on well and Jo worries about falling off and getting a buzz cut.

Been a hairdresser for 15 years and have had multiple corded seniors and now using cordless metal magic clips. Been wanting a more premium set for a while now. I’ve been using a colored Wahl set with the tray my whole career. A couple premium guards came with the magic clips but a tooth broke on literally every single one within a couple of months. Been casually searching for some for about a year and came across these guards while searching during Black Friday. Looked through the reviews for the flimsy cheap warning signs and of course they were there. But the dumb guard case pretty much hooked me. I haven’t seen an official wahl case for guards that included the whole set. Figured I would get the case and put whatever true pro guards I could find in it. When opened it up, the plastic in the grey “metal” was the cheapest feeling plastic ever. Not in a flimsy way. In an its gonna crack immediately way. But the next day when I actually had a chance to use them, it was the best guard I have ever felt on any clipper. Better than my masters and def better than the old premium guards. It’s an entirely new shape to every guard. Especially 1/2-3 guards. Way more like andis in how they curve with the head but somehow do it better. Now even though these are the holy grail in wahl guards, I refuse to give it 5 stars. The plastic is still the worst. The andis magnetic guards have this feeling of being unbreakable and they have been so far. Where wahl guards are known for just crumbling and these guards are no different. They are just so good that it will be worth it to call and annoy wahl to hopefully sell them to me individually. Because one will inevitably explode on a random morning by just being placed on the clipper. If that doesn’t happen, I’ll add that star.

I had to return this item because it was not compatible with my professional-grade clippers (Wahl's KM10). I'm writing this review mostly as a Public Service Announcement, because the types of compatible clippers was not mentioned anywhere in the product description. I do like the organizing case, which is much better than throwing the combs in a bag. If you have high-end clippers with detachable blades like the Wahl KM10, Oster Titan or Classic 76, or Andis, then you will need to get different combs: "Wahl Stainless Steel Comb Attachments, Combs for Standard Max 45." Also, note that these combs only work with certain blades—Wahl's website recommends the #30 competition series. I have an Oster Titan to use on my own hair, but recently bought the Wahl KM10 to use for dog grooming. Have not tried to attach these combs to the Titan, but the detachable blades are advertised as being interchangeable with all common brands. In case you were wondering about the differences between a ~$50 clipper and the professional ~$250 clipper, they are night and day. The cheap clippers use a reciprocating motor (pivot?) and are VERY LOUD. They also tend to snag when going through thick hair, and won't work with wet hair. The blade is fixed, so you have to use combs for variable hair length. In contrast, the expensive clippers use a powerful, QUIET rotary motor that could shear a sheep and work even with wet hair. There are many detachable blade options, from Oster's #00000 (0.2 mm) to #3 3/4 (13 mm). If you want anything longer, you need to use a #30 blade (0.8 mm) with clip-on combs. Given the cost of a haircut, it's well worth it to get a rotary-style clipper.
