It would be nice to have longer wire with the product, but the wire guide made connecting easier. I had bought another product, and the only useful thing was the wire. This product allowed for the wires to be perfectly lined up and provide the correct connection to extent the light strip.

Tried using these to make my project easier - it was a disaster. These connections are strong enough to stay attached and electrically connected across all 6 wires if there is any movement in the piece at all. They easily pull off the end of LED strips and/or lose connection. I was doing an under cabinet lighting project and was hoping to use these for all the connections. I ended up giving up on this style of connector and went with a crimp-style connector instead. It was much stronger and more reliable in completing the electrical connection across all 6 leads. I don't recommend this style.

These are a waste of money. They are completely unreliable. They result in intermittent failures which are very difficult to track down. In an installation using three of the connectors, I have had frequent cases where several of the connectors simultaneously fail. I have spent hours trying to make them work reliably to no avail.

This set worked great to splice together some Philips wiz connected strips. You have to make sure you get the splices crimped very tight but they hold well. Will buy again.
