After buying this, I haven’t had as much trouble falling or getting out of bed. Made very well. Works with a lift bed. Love it!

My 87 YO mother-in-law had fallen out of her bed and we needed a solution to keep her safe at night. Sleep Number didn't have a great option for their current setup, so I rolled the dice on this bed rail.It really worked out perfectly. I lifted the mattress off the frame and screwed this to the top half of the wooden bed frame. So, when they raise the head of the bed, this bed rail moves with it. It is flexible enough that you can collapse or extend it to work with most setups. Since installing this, we have had no issues with falling out of the bed, and she even uses it as a handy grab bar to help her stand up when getting out of bed.This was a very affordable and effective solution to a dangerous problem.

Be sure when you line them up that you push the rail all the way up next to the bed and have it extended. THat way you will not screw it down with space between rail and mattress!!! My husband had a severe form of very aggressive dementia and was very strong. He was not able to damage the rails no matter how hard he pulled on them! These were essential in keeping him safe from the awful things his brain was doing to him. I highly recommend these if you have an adjustable bed. They are definitely worth the money

We're the one piece clicks into the other piece, the pieces don't sit flush against one another, and there is a wobble. It may have been a manufacturers error, but we had already drilled holes into the mattress and we had to keep it on there. we needed something really sturdy because of my mom's fear of falling.

Nothing to dislike. Only took a few minutes to install and easy to work with. Has saved my husband from falls. He has Parkinson’s and struggled to get in and out of bed. And it lifts off so I can make the bed and surfer easy to put back in place. Thank you for a great product

The handle after installation was quite low and only extended past the top of my bed by about 3 in. That was quite low. I don't think the manufacturer has taken into account that today's mattresses are much thicker than in the past.

happy with quality. removes easily with one push of a button. used this in a adjustable power bed. you need a wood base to attach. installs with 6 drywall screws that are provided. instructions state you can not install on a open metal base but you could install it if you had a piece of plywood over the base. only neg is the price but for the safety its worth it.

Needed side rails to keep from falling out for my father in law. This provided what we needed and I was able to screw it into the adjustable bed base so it works with tilt features. Looks good and does the job.
