I like the material and the fact it has a zipper so it stays on. I'm only giving 4 stars because I've only had them a few days and haven't washed them to see how they hold up.

These are the best satin pillow covers I've ever owned...and I've owned many. I kept buying satin pillowcases, and the pillows would slide out of the cases by morning, and I'd be sleeping on a pillow cover or on the mattress. I finally bought a few satin cases with an envelope closure, but they were so slippery that the entire pillow would be on the floor within a couple of minutes after I fell asleep. I finally gave up and went back to my cotton pillowcases, but...I had been using a rosemary & mint oil, shampoo and conditioner, and I was hardly losing any hair, but with the onset of cotton pillowcases, my hair started to fall out more. I began to research satin pillowcases and discovered that they are not all alike. It is all in the weave, and ShopBedding has the exact weave to keep hair from falling out and keep pillows with their satin cases from moving around and falling off the bed. Even my head stays still on the pillow! I had always found satin pillow covers uncomfortable, but these are like sleeping on a cloud. They are so soft but not slippery. Some reviewers had trouble with the zippers. I bought 5 pair, and every zipper works perfectly. I also love the colors - they are delicious...especially the champagne!! Love these pillow cases. Great for my hair. My grandmother always had a satin pillow case and claimed it was a great beauty secret... she was right and had gorgeous hair. I haven't had issues with static but instead it feels like it conditions my hair. I can't say if it helps keep curls because my hair is mostly straight, but satin pillow cases are known for it. I can say though that it does make my hair shiny. I've read some reviews about the case being too slippery and people losing their pillows in the night, but I've never had this happen. The case is high quality for the price and my favourite pillows now feel like pure luxury. I love the zipper. I bought black and there is no bleed in the wash with my light colored bedding. I would highly recommend.

These pillow cases are perfect - I was surprised at just how high the quality is for the money. They really are very nice cases and look really classy. I would highly recommend.
