**Q: In the bottom where product description is, it says square size 48mm is that an error? it should be 50mm.**
A: This is the new version (with extra queens), the board square size of the new version is 50mm square. The old version (without extra queens) comes with board square size of 48mm square. Hope this clarifies your question.

**Q: This is abilled as the world chess championship set but this is not the pieces they used.  is that not misleading?**
A: This is the exactly the same pieces made for Championship matches but produced in plastic. The height of the king is smaller it is 86 cm which make it proper for tournaments use according to FIDE rules.

This is best chess set for travelling that I've found. The board and pieces are full tournament size, yet it folds up into a small and lightweight package, while still having weighted pieces. Yes, you can get a full size chess set for a lot cheaper, but they are usually heavier and larger when folded, or use roll-up vinyl mats that don't sit flat.
