Safety first, awesome product
I recently tried the CRAZY SHARK Fish Hook Remover Tool, and overall, it’s a very solid and practical addition to my fishing gear. Pros: •Easy to Use: The design makes it simple to remove hooks quickly, even from deeper-set fish. It saved me time and reduced the hassle compared to using pliers. •Fish-Friendly: One of the biggest advantages is how it helps minimize harm to the fish. Great for catch-and-release fishing. •Sturdy Build: The materials feel durable and well-constructed. It doesn’t feel flimsy and holds up well under regular use. •Good Grip & Control: The handle provides a comfortable grip, even when wet, which is important when you’re dealing with slippery conditions. Cons: •Learning Curve: If you’ve never used a hook remover tool before, it may take a few tries to get the technique down. •Size Limitations: Works best with large to medium-sized fish and hooks; forceps are still best with smaller fish

Works great
Works great for snapper and AJs. Don't try try to spin or yank fish dangling. If you use with common sense it will last a long time.

Appears to be exactly as described
Appears to be extremely well built and functional as described. Material wise appears to be all aluminum and sized perfectly for carry. Appearance was as described and should be versatile while carry as equipment. Once this week of rain passes I'll put it to use and will update my review if anythinb changes

Buy it!!
I bought this for my husband after seeing something similar on an episode of Wiched Tuna we watched together and they used something similar. I saw his face when he opened it and he was not impressed until he took it with him fishing and he said it was one of the best presents we’ve ever bought him. I will be buying one for my father In law this year and any other fisherman I know. Great product.

Good Value but Not Best
I am giving it 5 stars for ease of use, smooth operation, and comfort in the hand. The metals are aluminum and stainless steel, which is good for a saltwater environment. But it does have a plastic, which some people have had an issue. You can't be overly aggressive or manhandle fish with it. If you hold the fish or lay the fish down, and just use this tool to remove the hook, it should work perfectly. That's how I use it. If you try to remove hooks from heavier fish over the side of the boat without touching the fish, it may not hold up. The plastic may break. Mine had a small piece broken when I got it (returned it for another one). Others have shown breaking during use. Again, I don't believe this is designed for manhandling fish over the side of a boat. On a side note, I first bought the Bubba version, which is made much better, but I did not like the ergonomics of it. The way I intend to use the hook remover should not be a problem. A good hook remover should be with every fishermen - whether it's to not handle spiny fish, toothy fish, or the hook is too far in the fish's mouth. In some places, it's a requirement to have a hook remover. Just find the right one for you.

Skin Saver
Bought this for my Dad for unhooking dogfish. He reports it worked well on it's first use and saved his hands from the sharp dogfish teeth. ... bit the aluminum shaft rather than his fingers. So far so good. I hope it is sturdy enough for multiple years of use!
