keeps the allergies OUT!
I love this plugs. I think they are fantastic. Buy the set's that have a variety of sizes to try them out with will be worth it. These work so well that I may not need to take my allergy medicines...I may try that. I have two sets that I switch out each day. I wash them at the end of the day, let it dry all night and wear the other pair for the next day. I like the ones that have the screen AND the filter (don't really need the charcoal filter). They do flare out your nose a little if you get the right size and the "pull out handle" does show a little...however, they are absolutely worth the little discomfort. You have to buy the right size...so buy the variety pack first. I had bought the rounder one and then the variety pack and found that I like the narrow ones better for my nose. Both worked well though.

Difficult to breath
I found it difficult to breath through the filter and uncomfortable to wear. I didn't like the little white connector, which is likely necessary but I still don't like it showing. I was not having any allergy problems the day I tried them. I wonder what it would be like to have to blow your nose with these in? The plastic frame did make my nose puff out a little bit. It's a great idea, but definitely not a workable one for me. I don't think a refund or a money-back guarantee are available if you try putting them in and it doesn't work for you.

Too big and can be difficult to breathe through
I am still trying this out to see how effective it is for my allergies, as I can no longer find the filters I used to use. The biggest issue so far is the size. Even the smallest size makes my nostrils look big. I can't even image who would be able to use the XL. The need to adjust all the sizes down, or provide and XS. Also, the are not the easiest to insert. I have to attempt it a few times before to sits comfortably. Lastly, they tried to improve the filtering ability of the material, but it can make it difficult to breathe if you have exert yourself in anyway. They are fine if you are just sitting around with a slow breathing rate.

Amazing!
I always think it is weird to see reviews that say something changed their lives. I figure that the review is from someone connected to the product. I have no connection with this product. It has changed my life. I stay at home most of the time because chemicals actually make me faint. I have been to allergists. They have said it is impossible to diagnose because it is something in the air that does not stay in the body. So, I always have a cane to help steady myself. I mask and double mask. I avoid anything that looks like there might be chemicals. But since I have used these, it is like I can breathe for the first time in my life. I am much more mobile. I still get sick from the chemicals, but where it would have been an instant splitting migraine with fainting, now it is a dull headache. I have tried every medicine. I have used all kinds of masks. This is the only thing that has really made a huge difference. I just wish I could get the replacement filters faster. But I have been using the trial pair for two weeks now and it is still working. I rinse it and then let it air dry. Then I used them again, filter and all. It works so far even though supposedly the filters only last a few days.

I want to like these! They filter great! But...
I got these to filter allergens and they do a good job of it. With the current hazardous air in the PNW in Sep 2020 due to all the west coast fires, I can attest to the fact that they filter most of the smoke smell out. Miraculous! The but comes into play when I talk about how easy it is to actually breath with them in. Which is just barely...Maybe my sinus passages are too inflamed already...but when I put these in, while I smell cleaner air, I can't get enough! I end up finding I've opened my mouth to catch a breath...which sort of defeats the purpose. Not the worst $13 experiment I've ever tried, but sadly I can't really recommend them even tho I gave them 4 stars. I REALLY wanted to like them!

Stupid looking but they work
I was recently exposed to black mold and almost died. We had to move and everything had to be sanitized before it could be brought into the new place. I was having trouble breathing so a mask was out of the question. These little suckers fit into the nostrils and stay put. I was able to handle the unpleasant smell of cardboard boxes and I could breathe thru the nose with no problem. I was amazed.

Good idea, poor execution
There are no good nasal filters out there currently and sadly, these are also not good. The first thing is that in the photos they make it look like you can’t see them in your nose. No matter how much I stretched them out, they did not go far back enough to where you couldn’t see them. I think one of the main flaws in these products is that they’re not fully thought out as to what the customer really wants. If I was on the design team I would re-work them so that a.) they go back further into the nasal cavity so that they’re not visible and b.) make them black to also help with the same issue. Maybe keep the part that connects them clear, or maybe black but also make this part thinner material so that it’s not as visible on the outside of the bottom of the nose where it’s visible. These are not returnable for the obvious reasons, so be very careful when you buy them knowing that you will lose your money if they don’t work for you. I think there’s a great market for nose filters that are ‘invisible’ that could replace masks, and maybe one day we’ll see them but as of right now they’re just not there yet.

Glad they had a pack with all sizes.
Happy they have a pack with all sizes to try. I measured my nostrils and thought I’d use a medium, but found out that a large works better by creating an air tight nostril seal. I bought these for added protection when I went to the dentist and was going to have my mask off. Do they stop viruses? I don’t know for sure but it gave me peace of mind regardless. I’m going to wear them when I go back to work sincerely my job activates my allergies.
