The IR night vision is very long distance and clear. The camera focuses well and zooms great with clear video. I'm still in the learning process. I really don't like to leave reviews this soon after purchase because you can't comment on long-term reliability. The mount post is aluminum with stainless screws so no rust problems and a sign of quality to me. It seems well made but I would like to comment further after a couple of years of East weather exposure.
