No7 Boots Essentially Natural Foundation 40ml - Warm Ivory

Bought as my usual foundation (No 7 Intelligent Colour) was unavailable so took a chance on this. It provides more coverage than my usual one, not as lightweight, so it took a little longer to apply and needed more care but the coverage was good and the foundation is not greasy like some others I have tried. I've been using it for about a month and seen no adverse effects on my skin either. I also bought a different, much more expensive foundation from another site (literally cost three times as much as this one) as I wanted to sample a few new products and I have to say that the No7 completely beat it in every aspect. For anyone wondering about shade, I usually get the Intelligent Colour in 'light' shade and went for 'Warm Ivory' in the Essentially Natural product. I have quite fair skin (not pale exactly but not olive or naturally tanned at all) and it is probably classed as 'normal' as in a few light spots every now and again but not greasy or oily and nothing too weighty to actually 'cover up'.

Boots, warm ivory, is an old favourite. The few times I have been unfaithful and tried another foundation, captivated by clever product publicity, I always gravitate back to Boots No7. I am 89 but it suits my skin perfectly and is so easy to apply. I will often use a small amount of day cream and mix that with a very small dollop of foundation before applying it. Perfect combination. Well. it is for me. And, the all important factor these days is price. It costs less than many of its rivals.
