Cheap AND good quality
Bought two boxes of these as a gift for my mom, because these are her FAVORITE pens, and her stash of them ran out. They’re cheap, yes, but she absolutely LOVES the way they write, and she prefers them over all other options. I have used them myself and absolutely understand the hype!

WHAT CAN I SAY? I COULDN'T GO WRONG WITH THESE BIC PENS.
I can't go wrong with ANY BIC products. These pens write so smooth and easy without smudging. Ergonomically correct. I don't know how they keep their prices so low and affordable.

The original legend
These pens rock. Bic has not changed the quality since they first introduced this pen. Remarkably functional, no big deal if you lose one, and they are comfortable and familiar to write with. I love that they don't roll off your desk thanks to the hexagon shape. My only wish is that they offered a pack with 0.5mm tip and clear body, similar to these. The blue ink is rich and familiar.

Great buy
They serve the purpose and don’t break the bank. If someone walks away with my pen I’m not upset. I just pull out another. They write smoothly and I have warning when the ink is running dry.

Very short lasting
The pins work. Oftentimes, when I get the pins and start to use them, I can not recognize the writing, but thankfully, they do not smear. That said, I used them twice, and the ink started appear to be running out.

Finer lines than the Xtra Bold pens but still smooth
I normally prefer Xtra Bold pens (I bear down hard when I write and I love the smooth writing flow, the bold ink color, and the price), but sometimes you need to write smaller/neater, and these are great for that. You can't bear down as hard on these without them being scratchy, and the ink color is lighter, but they do offer a similar smooth writing flow and a great price point. Side note, I have blue Xtra Bold and these blue Xtra Smooth, but I don't get them confused because they have different colored caps and ends. The Xtra Smooth ones are a lighter, more typical blue, and the Xrta Bold ones have a darker blue. A little touch I really appreciate when I'm reaching for the right pen for the project I'm working on.

Cannot write. That’s not right!
Hopeless. None of the pens worked. All the refills were full of ink- but none of them worked. Sad. Very sad.
