Accelerator pedal, fuel pump signal?** A: This tool is the best to find broken wire and finding shorts on connections so yes it will work ..keep in mind that for best results disconnect the battery cause the only electrical u going to need is the one from the tool batteries **Q: It have a buzzer or some kind o beeping to advertize on short o open circuit ?** A: YES **Q: Does the difference between the cheaper ect3000 ($134) vs. the more expensive ppect300 ($211) comes down to the carrying box and two extra probes?** A: I use this product and good expectations and work as it should no problem ect3000 the only difference is the carrying case but mine came with a box **Q: Is this a new kit or used as it doesnt have a box** A: New but no box.
