Will this work on 5v circuits, I.E. Accelerator pedal, fuel pump signal?

This tool is the best to find broken wire and finding shorts on connections so yes it will work ..keep in mind that for best results disconnect the battery cause the only electrical u going to need is the one from the tool batteries

Does the difference between the cheaper ect3000 ($134) vs. the more expensive ppect300 ($211) comes down to the carrying box and two extra probes?

I use this product and good expectations and work as it should no problem ect3000 the only difference is the carrying case but mine came with a box

Seems to work well

I’ve now had it a couple of months but only used it once seem to work well but then lost the loo somewhere behind the dash and couldn’t find it again till it came out the other side of the carStill, I expect that’s me. I need more practice in using it
