Once you put all the dividers in, there are 12 flexible rectangular openings that measure roughly 3 by 3 1/2 inches each. It has an inside height of 12 inches, so it works very well to hold a set of twelve almost 11 inch tall Mikasa Celebration toasting flutes with narrow rims. But it won't work for Waterford Millennium series champagne glasses which are shorter, but have wider, flared rims.
