Here's what we found with these solar lights ...
The BAXIA TECHNOLOGY Solar Outdoor Lights are one of many options for solar lights. What we found with these lights is several cool features... and one thing that could be better. Cool stuff: These are super bright and motion activated. While there are no settings to these - they pretty much come on bright for about 30 seconds when motion with 10- 16 feet is detected - we find they work really well around plants, doorways, and walk areas. So simple compared with others we have bought. There is a small pin hole for the on/off feature and I like the security of knowing it's difficult for any one to sneak around and turn these off. Added some photos of the included pin and how to turn on the lights (a simple press for on and press again for off). We live in a very sunny area and these did not delaminate or melt when exposed to high heat and very bright sun . They also remained waterproof in a downpour. I like that the rechargeable batteries can be changed when needed (for us, these types of batteries usually last two years when well protected from the elements). These can be used as a very strong, "blinding" spotlight when they are directed at eye level or they can illuminate about 5 feet around a plant if placed at a 20 degree angle downwards. The options for these lights makes this a super versatile light compared with others we have tried. Hopefully the photos help to show the different ways we are using the light - one is at the base of a plant to deter mice and the other is on a fence to spotlight animals wanting to climb into our yard. Since these BAXIA TECHNOLOGY Solar Outdoor Lights are energized by the sun, two are being placed near our entrance to eliminate the need for keeping our electric front porch light on (it attracts so many bugs!). We estimate a pay back on these lights via a reduced electric bill within 2 months. Love that these are at a price point where we can order many of these to place around our property - and we move them around to keep animals from being able to get accustomed to the lights (and therefore less fearful). The ability to move these lights around makes them more valuable to us. These BAXIA TECHNOLOGY Solar Outdoor Lights come with a 180 day warranty. We ordered 8 and will be ordering 8 more because they work so well and are so simple to use. At the time we bought these they were 5 bucks each. The other great thing is there is a 30 day free return in the event you order them and they do not work out well for you. What could be better? I prefer the types of lights where you can simply attach it to a screw by sliding it on the screw. These lights have lots of options with two eyeholes (screws and plastic anchors are included, 3M type tape is not). There are good pictures on the product page of options for attaching these lights to fences, walls, etc. The only thing that could be better would be an option for length of light on, and brightness - that would increase the cost, so we're happy with the very basic features already offered. Hope the photos and this review help you decide if this is the best light for you. We love them and will be ordering more. 2 month update: My Baxia solar lights are still going strong (no degradation in the brightness and the solar part is still nice despite exposure to very strong sun and rain. I recently tried another brand that has three brightness levels and a more simple on/off switch - added a photo to show the difference. I ordered the other lights because the price was very good - but prefer the Baxia lights for brightness and simple one level of brightness - I need really bright lights and that is what these Baxia lights offer. Still keeping the new lights (not awful) but next time will stick with these bright, simple Baxia solar lights.

Bright & Reliable!
Great little lights which light up very bright to motion detection. I have purchased them three occasions over the last two years. First set I bought in summer of 2020; they’re still working perfectly! Bought another set of four summer of 2021; all work perfectly. I recently bought my third set. I arranged lights in my back and side yard to illuminate nightly dog walks and deter potential prowlers. I chose these lights because I wanted lights which are totally dark until motion is detected, which obviously preserves battery life. (Other brands offer models with a dimmer light which stays on constantly at night and then brightens when motion is detected.) As mentioned, light is very bright—considering the small package of the device. Simple to mount, using 2 screws (provided, but any small screws would work). They provide about 30 seconds of illumination after activating. Even after several nighttime activations, there seems to be plenty of juice left for pre-dawn lightings. I mounted one unobtrusively behind my street side mailbox, which functions as a driveway sensor when a car pulls in or someone walks into the driveway. I placed them around the house and shed. As each light functions independently from the others, and the coverage is overlapping, It would make it impossible to sneak up on my house in the dark. But aside from the security aspect, I find it most helpful for nightly dog walks in the backyard. In short, I’m very satisfied with these Baxia motion detection lights (I studied Reviews before purchase). As I said, my oldest set these lights is 2 years, and they’ve worked consistently through summer and the shorter days of winter. long days of plenty of sunshine. The second oldest set is a year old now. Pros: —Excellent illumination —good motion detection —light stays completely dark until motion activation —good battery life and charging even in winter cold and less sunny days —easy to mount, and could even be used portable, such as a camping site. Con: none noted. I recommend these Baxia Lights.

Works, mostly.
I bought 2 packages of 4 units about two years ago. I wanted a way to illuminate the backyard at night, and this product works handily. The LEDs are very bright, about the same as a 15 watt bulb, and I’ve never had a problem with insufficient light. The light stay on for about 30 seconds, something I wish I could double, but good enough. I need to be within six feet for the lights to detect my presence and out of the 8 lights installed, 2 never come on. I can get them to turn on if I shine a flashlight on them, but they don’t detect the motion. I’ve also noticed that they will come on without motion during during heavy rain or wind. I figure this is due to the manner of the installation, and I don’t really mind being able to peek in the backyard to see if the weather has caused gators or snake to wonder through. These were very easy to install on my chain-link fence. I just used some zip-ties and the job was done in minutes. I would recommend these lights if you needed lights to light up a walkway or utility area for a short amount of time. I wouldn’t recommend them as security lights or in lieu of a standard porch light. Standing still near the light will not trigger the motion detection.

Great security lights, great price, exactly what I wanted
These are great and easy to install. I bought the 28 LED version first to test them. They worked OK, so I bought the 100 LED version. I had purchased a 90 LED version of another brand that has a switch in the back to change it between full intensity (until the juice runs out), dim with bright when motion sensed and just bright when motion sensed. The switch is on the back so you can't change it once it is up (I chose bright with motion - the halloweeners are probably gonna love that, but turning them off is not an easy option). So, I saw these for ~ half the price and bought them. They are great. I bought another set and put them up at my girl friend's house (it took about an hour to install all four lights). She loves them. My brother has a birthday coming up - he's getting a set too (he saw mine and said he was going to go order a set and I told him that he should wait a couple weeks - hint, hint). I have them installed about 10 feet up and they come on as soon as any walks near them. There is no sensitivity issue. I've lived in my house for about 20 years now. It's in a good neighborhood and I've never had any problems, but the extra security can't hurt. They also have a white covering that diffuses the light. The 90 LED that I put up didn't and it is too bright. If I had to say something negative about them, it's that the anchors kinda suck. They work, but you may want to consider other anchors. The other negative thing I could say is that my walls are white, so they aren't very inconspicuous, but I spray painted mine white (they are easy to disassemble to paint the outer casing) so they blend in better.

2025 now, been working since 2016
Installed 1 on the backside of my shed in 2019 and is still working in 2025, so reasonable quality. Actually, took one of the others out of the box now 6 years later and mounted it over my front door and it powered right up. Only complaints are the 18650 is connected via a wire lead do will be semi difficult to replace when it goes bad, and the power switch requires a paperclip to hit through the little hole. But I know a lot of folks don't always follow up with longer-term feedback. These have given me good service for "enough light to find my keys"

At initial set up, no click, but yes flash. Otherwise, so far so good, for 6 of eight purchased.
I charged these up as per the instructions, attached them to the desired spots and then used the little tool provided with the lights to turn them from off to on (you poke a little metal rod into the reset hole on the lamp face). The instructions said listen for a click to confirm you hit the button right. Never heard a click, but each of the four lights flashed when I did this and all appear now to be working properly (light comes on when there is motion nearby and goes off after a short time). They have been installed for one day so I can't vouch for their durability or for how they handle fluctuations in the available sunlight due to seasons, weather, etc. The amount of light is just adequate for safe walking in my side yard areas and they are fairly nondescript. Update- We bought 4 more. Two of them are stuck "on" during dark hours, until the battery quits. Maybe the motion sensors are not working right.

Bright quality light
I bought and installed four of these lights in 2021. 5 years later, they are still running strong. Very bright light and the motion detection is very reliable. I just bought 4 more and installed them yesterday. Surprisingly, they look and work the same as those from 5 years ago! Buying another 4.

Shine bright like a diamond
This review is actually for three products that I have shown in the attached video. I walk my dogs at night which can be an obvious challenge. I purchased the noxgear light hound harness, the baxia solar lights, and a illumiseen LED collar. I pretty much like all 3 items and I’m happy with all three with a few exceptions. Baxia lights -5 stars so easy to install a cave man could do it. They are motion sensitive so they only light with detected motion. The one tiny little gripe I had was mine were missing instructions so I had to look up on You Tube how to trigger the “on” button which is with the use of the tiny paper clip doo dad that comes with the package. I’ve had them for over 2 months and they are still working great and are bright. Illumiseen LED collar-4stars like it but wish it was brighter. Also I purchased the wrong size a large for my GSD in the video. Not the products fault of course. I’ve had it for over 4 months and it’s still going strong. I have to recharge about every 2 weeks of use and I walk my dogs 1.5 miles every night and let them play outside. Noxgear light hound harness- 3 stars dang wish I could give it 5. This thing shines bright like a diamond. Drivers in their cars at night literally stop me and say “thank you!” I’ve had so many compliments on this thing and it holds a charge for a long time. I don’t really need to charge it for a good 3 weeks. Now the bad on this and it’s bad. The adjustment on this thing is terrible. I mean I’m a clothing design major and have a bachelors degree. I also have been sewing for over 30 years. I’m not the best tailor but even I know a construction flaw when I see it and this one has it. Overall the build and materials may initially justify the cost. This thing is expensive!! $60! I’ve had it for about 4 months and it’s falling apart already. Parts have literally fallen off. The adjustment component to this thing is horrible so horrible even a person who has been sewing as long as I have couldn’t figure it out and there are no instructions. It’s got this wonky Velcro thing that is supposed to hide extra length of strap that makes ZERO sense at all. One part literally ripped off meaning the straps used are of inferior quality. There is also this black button underneath that keeps getting unscrewed. I have ZERO idea why there is a leash loop on this thing the quality of the straps is horrible. With all these design flaws it truly does shine bright like a diamond but really should cost closer to $30 instead of $70

Reliable
I bought 4 of these quite a few years ago to light up my alleyway, and they have lasted really well. Hence me buying them again.

Work great.
I’ve had the lights for over 2 years and they work great. In a harsh Canadian climate summer and winter. Highly recommend.
