## Description

desertcart.com : WiFi Home Security System, 8-Piece Alarm Kit with 120dB Siren & Sensors | 120dB Loud Alarm, 8-Hour Backup Battery, Instant App Alerts, DIY Setup, No Monthly Fee, Expandable Security System : Electronics

Review: Excellent DIY Home Security System with Loud Alarm and No Monthly Fees - I’ve been extremely happy with this WiFi home security system. It offers an impressive combination of reliability, ease of use, and affordability, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to protect their home without paying expensive monthly monitoring fees. Setup was surprisingly quick and straightforward. Since everything is wireless, installation was simple—I had the sensors mounted on my garage door, sliding door, and several cabinets in less than an hour. The included adhesive worked well for the contact sensors, while the motion detectors mounted securely with the provided hardware. Even without prior experience installing security systems, the entire process was easy to follow. One of the standout features is the mobile app. It connects reliably to the system and sends notifications almost instantly whenever a door or window is opened. I really appreciate being able to check the status of my home from anywhere, giving me peace of mind whether I'm at work, traveling, or simply away for the day. The app is easy to navigate, although a slightly more polished interface and smoother notification setup on additional devices would make it even better. The alarm itself is impressively loud and definitely gets your attention. It's more than enough to alert everyone inside the house and would likely be heard by nearby neighbors as well. For even greater coverage, I added the optional external siren, which makes the system even more effective. Another feature I enjoy is the Alexa integration. Connecting it to Alexa was quick, and being able to arm or control parts of the system with voice commands adds an extra level of convenience to everyday use. The included kit provides plenty of sensors for a small home or apartment, and the wireless range has been excellent throughout my property. The sleek, modern design also blends in nicely without looking bulky or out of place. Perhaps the biggest advantage is the value. You get many of the same core features offered by much more expensive security systems, but without being locked into costly monthly subscriptions. Compared to my previous monitored alarm service, this system will pay for itself in just a few months while continuing to provide reliable protection. Overall, this is an outstanding DIY security system for anyone who wants dependable home protection at an affordable price. Easy installation, fast notifications, loud alarm, Alexa compatibility, and no recurring fees make it an excellent investment. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, effective, and budget-friendly home security solution.
Review: Great Door Alarm System that doesn't need monthly subscription - We had Ring for the front door but wanted an alarm system for the back door and garage so we got this one. This door alarm system is wireless and is really easy to setup, pretty much just put that on and it starts working. It connects well with our WiFi and it has no issues with range or connectivity at all. The alarm can go pretty loud so it's good for the whole house. It comes with I think 7 sensors (5 windows and 2 doors) so it is more than enough for the whole house. The notifications work fine too and I think that's a great feature when you are not in the house. It's also great that it doesn't require a monthly subscription. The design looks clean and modern. It is a good size which is not too big or too small. The battery lasts long enough for everyday use.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ up date seems like good product door sensors

I extreme wanted this item to work for me. I have continued to study what the problem may be. I have learned about " clear cache". This did make the app look right on my phone. I had done the "force stop" that did not help. As bad as I want this system I want to see if the seller will resale me the item again. They were great about a refund and I feel terrible if it was my phone causing the problems. So I have received the 2 nd order. I tried to find a way to contact seller to help with expenses but could not. Same issues as before. So I found most problems were with my phone settings. I had the fount large and the screen setting zoomed to much. That is why I could not read all content and could not see what door had an alarm. Also why the words were overriding each other and hard to read. But now I have a new problem. When ever an alarm is activated and I look at phone then there is not choice set for away, home, or disarmed. Every time it goes back to nothing. Best part now is I can see what door set off alarm. And I am very thankful for the remotes. I would have never thought about needing them but they are so much handier than using the phone. Sticky is great. Remotes are great. Gap distance is great. I am getting by with even 3/4 inch. But would not trust to keep it that way incase of wind or jar. For the money I am pleased with the system. I was hoping one could look at the app and see if a door was open or closed because I planned on putting one on over head garage door. Conclusion......... very reasonable way to do the job. I plan to install cameras to see what sets off any alarm. But I think using camera to secure an area would be imposable with out false alarms. This will make sleeping so much easier. please if anyone knows anything that would help please post it. And I tried "google home" to help...no way
