Galaxy Star Light Projector for Bedroom Ceiling Night Light Adults Kids

I’m really happy with this galaxy projector! It works so well and has been a wonderful addition to my boys’ bedroom. The different projections create a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, especially at bedtime. My boys absolutely love watching the stars and planets on the ceiling. It makes bedtime more enjoyable and gives them something lovely to look forward to every night. The projector is easy to use and the different settings make it fun and interesting. It’s also a lovely way to create a calming environment for the little ones. Overall, it’s a great purchase and excellent value for money. My boys love it so much, and I would definitely recommend it to other parents looking for something special for their children’s bedroom!

I bought this on a bit of a whim, just wanting something to make my room feel a little more relaxing in the evenings, and I’m really glad I did. The lighting is honestly lovely. It creates this soft, moving galaxy effect across the ceiling and walls that feels really calming after a long day. I like that you can adjust the colours and brightness depending on your mood – sometimes I have it very dim just to wind down before sleep, and other times a bit brighter if I’m just chilling or listening to music. The Bluetooth speaker is a nice little extra too. It’s not super powerful, but it’s absolutely fine for background music or playing some white noise at night. I’ve actually found myself using it more than I expected, especially when I just want a quiet, cosy atmosphere. It’s also really easy to use. Setup took no time at all, and the remote makes it simple to change settings without having to get up, which is always a bonus. If I had to mention anything slightly negative, it’s just that the build feels a bit lightweight, so I wouldn’t want to drop it. But honestly, for what it is and the price, that’s not a big issue for me. Overall, it’s a really nice little product that adds a bit of calm and comfort to the room. It’s the kind of thing that just makes your space feel a bit more special, especially in the evenings.

GREAT! Very bright (has 3 brightness settings), fills a small room with light. You can have aura, stars or both together. The movement of light is lovely. You can choose blue, red, green or white or a combination of any of those. Just sad they didnt have purple and green like northern lights (and like on the picture they use to advertise it!) but the blue, red, green is pretty and very close. And also not sure i love the stars which are permanently green?! (Maybe white or even blue would have been better). Very worth the money though.

First of all the major points of the lamp: Pros: Good light options. Sound options are a nice touch. Easy to connect Bluetooth wise. Fantastic companion app that allows you to make custome "scenes" with the lights, colours and stars. Cons: Auto-off after 4hrs after which you need to turn it back on and reselect your sound and scene/theme. Even so, I would highly recommend this lamp in general but specifically I personally found it to be a brilliant little sleep aid. Story time! Initially my dad bought one of these for my mum who was having trouble sleeping. The first night she used it, she set the colours to mimic water and the sound set to the ocean wave noise. She said she fell asleep much easier and even managed to get back to sleep after waking in the middle of the night to get a drink. Fast forward a few days and my dad insisted on getting me one too in order to help ME sleep. Once again the lamp did its trick. I made several light themes using the app, set the brightness much lower and used the stream sound which honestly if you set it to the right volume sounds a lot like rain. I usually take hours to fall asleep but with the light and noise soothing me I managed to nod off within the hour. It's brilliant as an ambient light too in the evenings. I usually use a theme or colour I don't use for bedtime for that and I set the brightness to maximum keeping the noise off - that way I can use the lamp two ways without affecting my bedtime routine. It really has made a huge difference to both of us and it is well worth the money.

I rarely leave reviews but just had to with this little projector. It’s honestly amazing and can’t rate it highly enough. Bought 2 before this and returned them as they only covered part of ceiling and colours weren’t great. But this one is fantastic. You can select a colour then add other colours until you get the colour you desire. So easy to use too. The little remote has initials of colours around centre dial so just press R for red etc then press it again to remove that colour, if you wish. Amazon would only allow me to upload one video but I had a range of beautiful colours. You can also press a button to brighten or darken and speed up or slow down aurora. It’s just fantastic value for money and exactly what I was looking for as I have trouble sleeping quite a lot and find it extremely relaxing to the point I was nodding back off. My room is about 24ft and it covers the whole of the ceiling. It’s used with usb cable and your remote. It has other features that I haven’t really explored yet like sounds of water falls, white noise etc. when you first switch it on green stars are everywhere but just press the star on your control to take them off. You can download the app apparently which I’ve still to do that gives more features and flexibility and think you can change the colour of the stars too if you want them on. But I highly recommend this for anyone from babies to adults. It’s amazing for the money and just mesmerising, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Many thanks 😊

Really very disappointing. Firstly, it's incredibly confusing to get this set up on WiFi using the SmartLife app - it's a process that involves connecting your phone to the device by Bluetooth, then the device WiFi hotspot, then finding the right type of device in SmartLife, then connecting to your normal home WiFi. It's just a mess of trial & error. When you eventually get it working in SmartLife, you discover there are 4 apparent 'modes' with a profusion of tweaks to the coloured lights. But after 20 minutes of messing around, you begin to realise that every mode is pretty much the same except for a few different colours or changing speeds. No where in SmartLife does it seem to support the in-built sounds such as 'white noise' & 'waves'. You have to use the Remote Control to switch them on, and once you do, you regret doing so as the noises are just loud irritating, tiny & repetitive. (And the Remote Control only wants to work some of the time). As for the lights themselves - well these are really quite uninteresting as they are *too* pervasive - there's no contrast between light & dark. In other words, it essentially lights up the whole room & just creates some very subtle wavey patterns on the ceiling that all blend together. It would be far better if the lights went off & on to create more contrast & movement. The light from this gadget (which is actually quite bright) reminds me of those 1970's fake coal fires with the amber light bulbs & slow spinning aluminium disks that made light/shadow waves something akin to flames (sort of). You have to set this gadget fairly close to the centre of the room to project the effects onto the ceiling. If you put it too low down (like on the floor) then you'll be blinded every time you look near it, as the light being emitted from the central glass bubble is very bright. But if you put the device high up, then there's only a small patch of coloured lights on the ceiling & the effect is completely ruined. The device also projects little 'stars' onto the ceiling. These are just green dots not unlike a cat laser toy, some faint, some bright. Unfortunately, these 'stars' are ONLY in green & they do NOT move, they just slowly fade on/off. You can use this as a Bluetooth speaker, but the sound quality is questionable. It sounds muffled, like the speaker is inside a cardboard box. You may as well just play the music from your phone. The most annoying thing about this gadget is every time you switch it on, it announces in a loud voice "BLUETOOTH MODE". Why does it do this? There seems no way to stop it & this means you cant quietly switch it on for a sleeping child, because the loud announcement will immediately waken them up! I originally bought this to entertain my cat. She's not interested in it. If the green stars moved & there was more light/dark contrast from the lights, it may have been worth the money. But it's not. On the plus side, if you successfully add it to SmartLife, you can then add it to a 'Home Assistant' setup as a LocalTuya device, but it's just an on/off switch - it doesn't give you any control over light colours etc.

The quality is good but it is not worth buying at all. You have to change all the images yourself and it has no music no sound and no movement. I have seen another model that could move and had a soft sound.I do not recommend it.

Ok so you have, like me, probably seen a large number of social media based adverts for these things making it look like we get projected images straight from the James Webb telescope only to find that its a disappointing LED travesty. Well this is different, its LED and there are a number of colour options, you can have individual colours, two colours at once and there is a colour rotation pattern too, so there's plenty to like about the aurora that the unit displays. In addition to the aurora there is a green laser starfield, this will pulse on and off or can be turned off completely. It doesn't follow the constellations so if thats what you are after this unit is not for you. The unit is also bluetooth enabled so you can use it to stream any bluetooth audio to to as well, a nice feature, as are the built in "relaxing" sounds. There are a few looping sound effects to choose from, seaside, running water, thunderstorm, rain and even white noise. All in all the unit is well spec'd and comes with a handy remote control that allows you to get comfortable with your light and sound combination and remain there while making adjustments. There is also an auto switch off feature, so don't worry about using it to get to sleep, it will turn itself of after about two hours so it won't be on all night long. Its a very good unit and will comfortably fill your room with sound and light.

I had high hopes for this projector after seeing the good reviews, but my experience was disappointing. The projection was blurry and uncomfortable for the eyes. The pictures show a Pro version with better projection and 4 buttons, but I received the basic version with only 3 buttons, and the slide covers were also different from the ones shown. After checking other reviews, I noticed that some customers had received a different-looking version, apparently the Pro model. There was no clear option to choose between Basic and Pro while ordering. The listing should be more transparent about which version customers will receive. I have requested for exchange now hoping to receive the pro version, otherwise I will have to find another one.
