Does this printer have capability to print direct to disc cd/dvd or anyone know an a3 printer that does

This does not print directly to DVD. I don't know of an A3 printer that does. I keep an old Canon iP7250 inkjet (A4) for this purpose. Richard Mann

I can't find where to connect Ethernet cable

Can you email documents on this?

You should be able to. These printer model now use the Brother mobile connectnApple or Android Apps to do a multitude of things. Easier to save and then attach to send, where applicable on type.

Can the scanner bed accommodate A3? Will it photocopy or scan a3 documents?

The scanner is A4 only. For A3 scan options please consider MFC-J6540DW or MFC-J6940DW.
