Worked well after cleaning a rodent nest from the top of my cabin air filter. I am not crazy about the smell of this product but it beats the rodent smell! I used a lemon scented spray directly on the filter after using this product and the end result was great!

I used it to get rid of a foul odor coming from the air vents of a 2005 Camry. I followed the instructions and the spray eliminated the smell. I also put in a new filter.

Works well when you properly prepare the car as follows: 1. Clean/blow off and wash off that external air intake area prior to applying this. 2. The biggest thing people forget is to temporarily remove the cabin air filter prior to spraying this in the external air intake around the hood windshield area. You want this product to go past where the cabin air filter is and reach the A/C system. 3. Once you start spraying it into the external air intake, you’ll notice the fumes are pretty strong. Same goes for the inside of the car. I got a little bit of a headache during application, so take precautions. 4. You already have the cabin air filter out as part of this exercise, so replace it with a clean, new filter while you are there. After running the car’s A/C system for about 20 minutes, I was concerned about the chemical smell in the car being too strong, so I washed off the external air intake area with the garden hose and ran it another 10 minutes. The results were awesome: the bad smells were gone. I let it sit overnight and drove with the windows down the next day. The chemical smell was very light on day 1 and completely gone by day 2.

My wife’s car had a bit of a musty AC smell, so I grabbed this cleaner to see if it would help, and it actually did a pretty decent job. I sprayed it according to the instructions — fan on high, recirculation off — and after a short while the air coming from the vents smelled noticeably fresher. It’s not a strong “perfume” type of scent, more like neutral clean air. After using it, my wife said she didn’t notice the unpleasant smell that used to pop up before. Using it was quick and straightforward. The spray tube reached the intake grille without any trouble, and I didn’t have to take anything apart to make it work. If you follow the directions, it’s basically: spray, run the fan, and wait. I’ll be honest — it’s not a miracle fix. If your HVAC system is really dirty or you have mold deep inside the evaporator core or ducts, this won’t reach those areas. For that, you’d need a dedicated evaporator coil cleaner or a proper service. But for getting rid of stale-air odors or that occasional “old car smell,” this is a handy and inexpensive tool. For the price and how easy it is to use, I’m glad I gave it a try.

Bought a used car with tons of overpowering air fresheners. Cut them down and noticed the previous owner was hiding an issue. I couldn’t drive for then minutes without my throat burning. Sprayed this entire can as directed and it helped. It smells a new car and clean laundry, so fresh. I still felt congested so I bought a new filter as recommended by everyone here. My sinuses are clear and I don’t feel like throat irritation anymore. Most likely a heavy smoker or the car had been sitting long.1000% would buy again and recommend.

Do it when replacing the cabin air filter. Any off smells gone. Great product.

This product did not work at all. It is a complete waste of money. I highly do not recommend it. Also, the spray leaks around the sprayer hose so you don’t even get the full can to be able to use because of it leaking so much, so it is a big waste of money. I wish I could get my money back just for the simple fact that the product was a COMPLETE WASTE OF MY MONEY, but they get you because once you've used it and see that it DOES NOT WORK and leaks everywhere there is no way to return it. So frustrating. You know this product has to be terrible because I never leave reviews.

This spray was the most powerful spray I have ever used, which is good and bad. Completely erased the cigarette smoke odor which was in the truck when I bought it used. But the chlorine odor still lingers even 8 months later, which makes one think they are getting poisoned, which they probably are. If there was a way to erase this odor, I wish I knew. Before this product though, I had tried ever spray possible, even buying a small ozone generator, which did not do the trick at all—even running it several hours per day for several weeks. So the cigarette odor was entrenched within the whole interior and duct work. But this product did the job. Giving a 3 star because of the after effects which are pretty concerning.

Works beautifully and smells amazing! Used in my car when replacing the cabin filters. Gives the car a really fresh smell and also deodorizes as well! Super happy.
