I got these bulbs to help give more ambient lighting to a dark room. The space I was working with had one of those dome lights in the middle of the ceiling and I got a couple of floor lamps, but the room still felt kind of dingey in the corners. I hung these bulbs up around the edges of the room with hooks and some of that 3m foam double sided adhesive sticky things that release from the wall when you pull straight down on them. The lights are great. If you put them on a dimmer, they dim down to extremely low levels for when you want to set the mood, but get pretty bright as well when you need more light. This is great - not all LEDs take dimmers well, so it's worth noting. And the fact that they're LED and plastic bulbs mean they're less dangerous to have around. I don't have to worry about bulbs shattering and leaving broken glass anywhere or a light potentially causing a fire. Each of the bulbs has a little hanging loop too, so putting them up was a breeze. My phone pictures are not great (I don't have a nice camera on my phone), but the bulbs are translucent and when they're dimmed, the faux edison style of them comes through. The photos are just to show the difference between fully on and fully dimmed. I ended up plugging the lights into a smart dimmer so I can control them from my phone. That is not included with the bulbs. I can't comment on the durability since I use them indoors, however I can't imagine sturdiness being an issue with these. They're certainly more durable than real glass.

Bought these lights to put up in my backyard for a party I was hosting and it lit up the yard perfectly and everyone thought they were the bees knees. It also made my backyard look very elegant and they aren’t obnoxiously bright. They are affordable and provide the perfect ambiance and are extremely easy to set up! The photo with the lights turned on at night is two months after installation and they work perfectly!

These lights are fantastic. I bought a couple sets, one for our screened in porch and the other for a firepit project I just completed. They're bright enough to give off some ambient light but not too bright that they'll blind you at night and ruin the mood. LEDs will last forever as long as you can keep water out of them. I live where we get all 4 seasons: freezing temperatures, snow and ice along with rainy spring seasons and hot, humid summers - so time will tell how they hold up. The bulb housings are plastic so they should be durable long term and you don't have to worry about breaking them. Each set come with a couple spare LED bulbs and housings which is a nice touch, be sure to hold on to those. 50ft are going for $27 right now with a 30% off coupon, I can't find anything negative about these and for the price if I had to replace them every couple years I wouldn't be too upset about it. The ones on the porch are connected to a remote switch that I can control from inside, and the ones over the firepit are plugged into a dusk/dawn sensor to come on every night. I ran wire in conduit up the side of the post to an outlet so that way I didn't have the bulbs running down the side of the post making it look tacky. There isn't a huge distance between where your plug is and where the first light starts, so take that into consideration for your project. You'd want to avoid using extension cords in a situation like this as that's just another spot for water ingress. These make for great ambient lighting next to our pool and give off enough light to keep people from tripping on stuff in the yard. This is such a simple project that will make a world of difference to your entertaining space, guests will absolutely love these and want to pick up a set for their place.

I highly recommend these beautiful lights. The customer service for this company is also wonderful. Any questions you may have they respond quickly & very considerate. The lights have a very pretty glow & having the remote control can use from indoors is a great added benefit. There's also several great effects you can change with the lights, like called "breath or or flash," also adjustment of brightness & timers. You'll LOVE these lights at a really good value too!! Buy it!!

Nice product, but we had two issues. 1. Most of the reviews suggest that there is about 5 feet of cord between the last bulb and the transformer. On the 36 ft. length, there is only 2 ft. Maybe there's more on the next size up, but I doubt it. 2. The two AAA batteries that came with the set for the remote were corroded and unusable. Luckily the remote was packaged in its own plastic sleeve and was spared damage.

The Addlon brand's "50FT LED Outdoor String Lights with Edison Shatterproof Bulbs" are a set of 15 bulbs on a 50-foot black cable. They are easy to install, weatherproof, and come with a vendor's warranty. They are available in a variety of wire lengths and bulb densities, but be aware of the line lead length and that you have easy access to an outdoor outlet. You may need an outdoor extension cord. The bulbs are very bright on first install. A natural warm-white at 2680 degrees Kelvin. Lumen output is higher than expected at nearly 225 lumens per bulb at full brightness while consuming about one watt of power. That's very efficient. I paired my set with a WiFi dimmer with sunset to sunrise astronomical timing. The bulbs dim to a very low setting, and I have the dimmer set to turn them on at sunset at 1 percent and increase the brightness to 75 percent over 20 minutes. This is a very natural transition and imperceptible through the twilight time, and with an astronomical dimmer, the turn-on and turn-off times automatically adjust as the sunset does throughout the year. A well-written instruction manual is enclosed. Be sure to read it and ensure that your installation is correct for outdoor / wet environments. Very pleased with the lights -- the only concern is that the mounting hole on the top of each fixture is very small, so you will need a small attachment screw or hook to match. The outer bulb cover is plastic and can be easily cleaned as needed. One extra bulb, cover, and fuse included in the offer. Also, the wire and fixture is only available in black -- may be nice to have white and green wires. Cons: Can be tangled upon arrival (but easy to untangle) May be too bright for some users (consider a WiFi dimmer with an astronomical sunset / sunrise setting to match local sunset and sunrise times). General: I recommend buying hanging hooks with spring clasps to secure the lights in windy conditions.

I love these lights. We use them when we go camping the bulb size is a larger which I like. They are very bright, I enjoy the light but my other half says they are too bright. They have not flickered on us once and they are pretty sturdy, I believe the glass bulb is a little thicker which is nice.

While I must admit, I was a little disappointed that I had a burnt out bulb within just a few months of installation even though the lights were rarely turned on, the manufacturer replaced the entire strand at no charge - way above and beyond what was expected. I can highly recommend them.
