Perfect fit for my laptop and easy to apply

My left arrow key somehow popped off and the little piece inside was broken so it wouldn’t pop back on. I took it to Apple and they were unwilling to change only the one key. They told me they would need to change the entire keyboard and with Apple care it was still going to be $300!! Absolutely bonkers. I purchased this, watched a YouTube video and replaced it myself for $12 and in under 30 mins. Shame on Apple.

I damaged the key while cleaning it; it's a bit tricky to put on, but after a few attempts, it worked. I read that there would be a noticeable difference between the original keys, but honestly, I don't see any. I replaced the down key on a MacBook M1 16''. It seems a bit pricey for a single key, but despite that, I’ll buy again if I have another accident; I really recommend it.

This was a solution to my arrow key falling off all the time. You cannot tell that it is a different than the other keys. It BLENDS in perfectly and FITS. I wish there was more information on how to install as it was tricky and time consuming. I will buy again if any other key needs replacing.

Item plastic is much thinner than original

Worked great. There was no damage to the hinge so I did not need to remove it. To hook the left side of the hinge I used a spring hook to lift the right side of the hinge to get clearance. Once the left side was in place, simply snapped the right side into place.
