How much on a hanging scent rag?** A: We like to soak our scent drags for maximum effectiveness. How much that takes will depend on the size & type of drag you use and in some cases, the distance of the drag. For longer walks we check our drag and reapply if necessary. Once we arrive, we'll hang it on branch and give it a bit more if needed. **Q: Will this work for blacktail and mule deer?** A: G'day Taylor. I live in Australia and we don't have black tail or mule but it works on the species we have here. **Q: What’s the shelf life if left Unopened?** A: I've always tried to use it within one year . That's just me . I have bought it on sale in Dec/Jan after season . I set it in a dark place in my house , were the temperature is A little cooler . You don't want it to freeze. I haven't had any problems yet . **Q: Which works better the scent wicks or the scent sponges??** A: 69 worked well until last year.New ATA label on it.will not be using any scent with ATA label. ## Frequently Bought Together - Tinks Doe-in-Rut #69 Buck Lure 4 oz. - TINK'S Scent Bombs 1 oz. 3 pk. - Tink's Doe-in-Rut Estrous Attractant Spray - 5 Fl Oz Bottle With 10 Foot Stream | Deer Scent Gel, Hunting Accessory With Secure Locking Cap --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/4431763-tinks-doe-in-rut-69-buck-lure-4-oz](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/4431763-tinks-doe-in-rut-69-buck-lure-4-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
