He quickly put me under his spell of smooth beats and sonic experimentation. The man is truly gifted in his ability to compose unique, fluid, and complete tracks. I purchased the Flume (deluxe edition) electronically, and I found myself listening to it everywhere. In the car. At the gym. Subtly, at work. My two favorite tracks are 'Warm Thoughts' and 'Insane,' but honestly the entire album is great and can be listened to from start to finish. I recently procured this on vinyl, and the experience via my HiFi has been unreal... It is almost like I get to hear the tracks for the first time all over again. There are so many nuances is these layered compositions that you don't fully hear when the audio is compressed. Review: Flume rocks it - I was searching for some new music and stumbled across "Holdin' On," "Sleepless," & "Insane." They were all awesome and so was the rest of the album, so I decided to buy it. Intelligently mastered beats so intoxicating you'll find yourself wanting to repeat the entire album continuously.
