i bought this for my 1993 Ford F150 with the 302 engine. if yours has the same 302 then it should work. For me it worked perfectly.

Package says for 85-95 V8TFI. Will it work on my 96 F150 V8EFI?

I have a 88 F150 5.7 EFI and it fits perfectly

Will this fit on the stock distributor on my 1979 f100 302?

That I don't know, but with a vintage Ford F100, I would stick with original Ford parts

will it work on a 4.9l straight 6?

No, it's for V8s. I'm sure there is another part number for the 300/4.9 6cylinder but I don't know it. Good luck!
