College Book and is authentic
Hardcover, old fashion, full of information, it's probably around 300 bucks full cost, but I think in this day and age, it's a good buy.

The book was excellent to use for my college class for chemistry and I had already returned it so I just wanted to say that my book was returned.

Great text for self-study or review!
I was looking for an updated version of the text and found this edition. I like it because it is well written and I believe a great review of basic Chemistry for those looking for refresher material.

I may become a Chemistry Major
The book was delivered on time, in great condition. I bought it used. I have never reviewed a textbook. I try to avoid buying these useless tools, at all cost. I was forced to buy this book because my professor's in-class information is not as clear or complete as I like. Anway, chemistry is a difficult course, a reference tool is required. I have just begun reading this textbook, and I haven't been able to put it down. This text is heavy as heck - I mean flipping through the pages. It's so understandable. Chemistry is made easy - the illustrations, the practice problems with solutions are embedded in the reading portion, which is absolutely perfect for my learning style. I like pictures and the applying what I have learned immediately, so I can retain the information. Although I absolutely love this textbook, so far, I didn't give it 5 stars, because I want to leave room for criticism. I will update my review at the end of the semester, if necessary.

Proper Shipping
I've ordered five college textbooks recently, and with the exception of the order from the school itself, this is the only one that arrived safely in a box instead of some cheap envelope. And in perfect condition as well. Absolutely worth the little extra cost. As for the material in the book, it does appear quite useful and up to date at a glance.

Given the correct A La Carte edition by renting the hardcover
I rented the hardcover version of the textbook, and it was the 14th edition A La Carte, as most US schools request. It appears that if you order the soft cover you get a Global Edition, but not with the hardcover rental. I was hesitant to order because I was afraid it might be the wrong edition but I was given the correct one.

Why not extend current rental times for students needing extra time?
Given the current Covid 19 pandemic, many college semesters are ending later than originally planned (including my son's current semester at Lonestar Community college). It would be a great gesture for you to consider a free extension for those students that need extra time to finish this semester's work.

good book
good explanations, many exercises and examples. easy to understand. only downside: when writing notes with pencil inside, it's barely eraseable (still very visable on paper). still would recommend.

The Best Textbook on Chemistry !
A step-by-step approach from the basics to the advanced level. Theodor Brown et al have done a great service to the student/teacher community across the globe. With excellent pictures, study helps, problem sets, solved examples. Unparalleled in its quality for Senior School/College Level. Wish this were a recommended text for NEET and JEE in India for the sheer pleasure of concept building. Thanks to VBP_Fastship which is bringing these at a very affordable price. Great packaging and mint quality textbooks. Yet to explore Nivaldo Tro's classic texts...

Great quality!
The book was listed as “used - good”, but I would have categorized it as very good or like new! Except for a sticker at the top and light dulling of 2 corners, it’s great - the pages feel new, there are no highlights or writing, and no folds on any of the pages.
