What size is the ice scoop ? It's hard to tell from the pictures but it looks like maybe a 2 or 3 ounce scoop. Does anyone know for sure ?

I want to add an extension tube for cleaning/descaling into a bucket. What diameter tubing do I need?

If descaling the unit has become a frequent chore due to the hardness of your water, you may want to consider using distilled water. Descaling is not needed quite so often when using distilled water. Could this be placed under counter in a cabinet or will overheat ect?

Hi - We appreciate your interest in our Profile Opal ice maker. We do recommend allowing 3" air clearance on all sides and back to allow proper airflow. how many pounds per day - site says 34, GE's video says 24....?

The specifications for this ice maker lists the productivity rating at 1.1-1.3 lbs of ice per hour under optimum conditions of 60°F water temperature and 70°F ambient room temperature.
