Got it for my granddaughter for a Christmas present and she was very very happy with it has 210 projects in it for her to explore.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter. We've been doing an experiment a week and plan to them more frequently when summer break arrives because there are 70 different experiments to perform. It comes with safety glasses and the instruction booklet has a place to write down the number to the nearest emergency room or poison control center for quick reference. (The experiments are quite safe but I'm glad they put an emphasis on safety just in case something happens.) Nearly everything you need comes with the kit. So far, the only thing we needed to provide was water. She loves everything we've done so far. It's her favorite part of the week! The only problem I have is the instructions are often unclear or incomplete. For example, the lava lamp experiment lists blue pigment in the ingredients, but never tells you add it. Reading the description of why the experiment works, I saw a mention of blue water rising and surmised I was to mix it in the water. Just make sure before you start that the directions make sense and all the ingredients you need are present and you know their purpose and when to add them.

Bought this for my newly 4 year old. The science experiments are a perfect mixture of working together and allowing him to do things on his own. The kit comes with 95% of the stuff you need, but some experiments require sugar, apples, potatoes, etc. My son asks a few times a week to do his science experiments. He really loves it. Great purchase. I can see this working well for older kids as well who are able to read, follow directions, and have good fine motor skills. They would be able to do a lot of the experiments on their own with supervision.

My kids absolute favorite thing to play with and be fully engaged i recommend it for anyone ages 4-12

So many different experiences to do with my kids and they loved it. It was a little hard to follow the instructions because some things weren't labeled It is a little messy but most experiments are. My 3 year old loved it.

Fun set will last years. The lab coat and goggles kit a older kid but my 3 year old loves playing with all the breakers and droppers.

I ordered this for my 7 year old and he loves it! comes with very sturdy pieces and exactly what a small budding scientist needs to do his "experiments". I would happily recommend.

The scientist robe would fit maybe a 6-7 yo however my 4yo insisted to wear it anyways with sleeves rolled up. Testing tubes/funnels/measuring cup/measuring spoons and more. The basic kit comes with an experiment book containing easy instructions for 6 experiments. Make sure you have vinegar/baking soda/dish soap/milk and food coloring for the experiments as your kid would want to mix right away. Great value as well
