The Wedge Downspout Gutter Guard

Easy to assemble and install, enormously effective. They can still clog so they don't *replace* gutter guards, but the increased surface area makes clogging happen far less often. I should have purchased these things as soon as I moved into the house, it would have made my life indescribably easier.

They appear to be cheaply made. Minor assembly / setup. Good enough for what it is, we'll see how long they last.

These work great to keep downspouts from clogging. Very easy to install and they last several years before they need to get replaced

Have high hopes. Assembly was pretty easy. Once I climbed up to the downspouts. First one didn't give enough room between the gutter's end plate to insert the leave guard with the short pipe provided that extends into the downspout. That round piece is designed to lower into the pipe but is easy to detach and discard. The second downspout had a gutter brace which interfered again with the round piece designed to go down into the discharge pipe. So I removed it, installed the filter flatten the gutter and hope the stay in place before I removed them for the winter.

I has second thoughts about buying these guards , but they have actually been doing a great job of keeping leaves out of the downspouts and still allowing watering to go through . Easy to remove and clean . Highly recommend and glad .

I dont trust these to do what they say. However, I am going to see if I am wrong, as they are not super expensive. 1 - they are pretty narrow. I have standard sized gutters (not the larger ones) and these fit with a lot more spaces on the sides than expected. 2 - When assembled, they are not a tight fit at the front of the wedge shape. There is a gap between the bottom and the top. I have maple trees and that gap is plenty large enough for maple seeds 3 - With the loose fit, I am not sure how they are suppose to stay in place during high winds THE FIX??? I was replacing mushroom shaped wire mesh in most the gutters. If you take the bottom piece off that goes into the downspout and re-open the back end of the wedge, then you can pretty easily thread the thinner bottom of the mess through bottom of this wedge. In doing so, this should block any maple seeds and the wire mesh gets stuck on the screws that hold the downspout on so it will all stay in place even in high winds. In short, this item in conjunction with some other item like I have done will work wonderfully on keeping the downspout from being clogged inside. MY HOPE My biggest hope is not needing to clean out gutters any longer... I'm not feeling confident, but I am being hopeful; time will tell. If this also works well in the two spots that I didn't have mushroom screens already, or if the leaves really do blow out of the gutters, then I will update the review.

Functionally they work but with high winds they occasionally blow out. Very light weight and the nozzle that goes into the downspout isn't quite as large as it could be, if it were a tighter fit they may not blow out

Great tight fit and you can see the tip of the filter,so you know it's still in place. Surrounded with holes means it should never get blocked. Bit expensive and you have to build it, and light, but it will do the job for years.

設置直後、普通の雨量では問題なく水を通したが大雨ではオーバーフロー発生。 開口率（投影面積に対して水が通れる面積の割合）が低いのが原因？ 1か月が経過すると通常の雨量でもオーバーフロー発生。 メッシュ（孔）が小さすぎて、小さなゴミが詰まりやすい？ 写真は小さなゴミが張り付いた様子を撮影したものです。 「ゴミを通さない」という機能は優秀だが、「水を通す」という機能は落第。 孔がもっと大きければ、本来の機能を発揮するのかもしれません。 竪樋に少量の小さなゴミが流れ込むのは問題ないハズですよね？

Easy to assemble but when I tried to fit it in gutter it fouled the roof tiles so wouldn't fit , not the wedge fault just not suitable for my property

Impressed with structure so far.

Waste of money, flimsy plastic, that is a fold and snap together affair, installed, which was tricky, they shifted out of place and produced a worse clog
