I love the feel of these konjac body sponges. Great size for my hand, they foam up wonderfully and feel good on my skin. I bought them back in February and it is still in good condition. You do need to hang them to dry where there is air flow on both sides of the sponge as it will develop mold. But I simply treated it with vinegar and then a bleach soak and dried in the sun and it was good as new. I now hang it outside the shower cubicle to dry between uses. Very happy with them and love that it is a natural plant produce.

I have been looking for an eco friendly version of a plastic bath puff for a while. I found most to be scratchy. I had given up hope--until I found the Konjac Body Sponge! It's soft yet also firm if that makes any sense. It lathers up well and I feel very clean after using it. The string broke after a couple of weeks, but that is not an issue for me. It has held up very well--I think I've had it about 5-6 weeks now. It seems to be getting a bit smaller, but that's ok because there is another one in the box waiting to be used.

So far it seems to be a pretty good sponge. Feels a bit like jelly or silicone once its expanded. It lathers well... perfectly fits in the palm of the hand, and delicately gets the job done. I will try and update once I see how it holds up over some time.

I am so glad I found these sponges. I hated using loofahs it just felt like microplastics scratching my skin, plus the waste. I have been on a journey for many years trying to find ways to leave less of a carbon footprint on the planet. Wash rags was an obvious swap for the loofah, but they just flop around everywhere in my small hands, you have to use 10x more soap, and I never felt like they were doing a good job. These are hard at first, you get them wet and they will expand and soften (a little jelly-like feeling at first) then when you add soap to them it emulisifys well and does a great job. I love that they are biodegradable, and that they dry up so they aren't holding the moisture /bacteria, and they have zero smell. They are a bit pricy, but to me they are worth it.

This sponges are great as a bath sponge. They get soft and are not irritating to the skin. I would say it fell apart too quickly. It should have lasted 2 months and after one month it was I’m pieces.
