Master brand is known for high quality, which usually comes with higher price than competitors. Lots of research done to find a very solid lock for new camper trailer. This lock was reasonably priced, in line with other 'foreign'-named options. Lock arrived quickly AND much better theft protection than a lock through the trailer latching mechanism.

Easy to install. Fits nearly every trailer coupler. Design is nearly if not entirely bolt cutter proof.

This lock has some weight to it. It works great and feels solid. It didn’t fit on my utility trailer but that’s due to my trailer and not this lock. I gave this one to a friend and it has worked on his trailer flawlessly. Definitely worth the money. If it had actually worked on my trailer tongue I’d definitely be keeping it.

We are owners of a 27 ft travel trailer. I recently wrote a review on another trailer security lock that we purchased for our travel trailer. I mentioned that it was a backup to a more visible security lock. This trailer lock, Master Lock - Universal Size, is our primary security lock. We use this lock because it appears to be very sturdy, not easily defeated, and it has a bright color. While those first two points are probably the most important, it is the bright red color that I like the most. The lock is obvious to potential thieves there is a lock. I can't begin to tell you how many travel trailers we see at campgrounds or in driveways that have no security lock on their front hitch. These are easy targets. Our lock basically says to potential thieves to move on. I highly recommend this product. Trailer Theft is more prevalent than you may think.

Très bien. Va peut-être décourager les voleur de bas de game. Mais va retarder les experts. Acheter pour le prix et à la demande des assurances. J'ai aussi acheté une serrure pour la poignée de la main. Bon prix pour en décourager quelque un. Reste à voir si il va rouillé et être difficile à ouvrir. Abitibi Québec Canada
